Bombshell Report: Stanford University Study Reveals Face Masks Don’t Work

A study was completed recently by Stanford University’s Baruch Vainshelboim and published by the National Center for Biotechnological Information, a government website and a branch of the National Institute for Health.  This linked article contains large sections of text taken from the study, including the Abstract, Introduction, Hypothesis and Conclusion.  Additionally, there is supporting evidence regarding the physiological and psychological effects, as well as the long-term health consequences, of wearing face masks.  In summary, none of the effects are positive.

The media will often report a breaking news item as a “bombshell.”  I never went to journalism school (though I did stay at a Holiday Inn once) but I am going to classify the study’s conclusion as a bombshell.  To quote, “The existing scientific evidences challenge the safety and efficacy of wearing facemask as preventive intervention for COVID-19. The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects. These include hypoxia, hypercapnia, shortness of breath, increased acidity and toxicity, activation of fear and stress response, rise in stress hormones, immunosuppression, fatigue, headaches, decline in cognitive performance, predisposition for viral and infectious illnesses, chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Long-term consequences of wearing a facemask can cause health deterioration, development and progression of chronic diseases and premature death. Governments, policymakers and health organizations should utilize proper and scientific evidence-based approach with respect to wearing facemasks, when the latter is considered as preventive intervention for public health.”

So, it would seem the esteemed expert and government authority on all things virus-related, Dr. Anthony Fauci, could and should be asked to comment on a study published on an NIH website, given his high-ranking status in the Institute.  Surely, we can expect to see him any day now appearing on a variety of news and commentary programs to explain the study’s conclusions.

As for the media in general, where is the non-stop reporting on this new report? Nothing appears in major print media or TV news shows. In fact, the article linked above is from a website,  www.americanconservativemovement.com.  No doubt, the site will be disparaged for posting this article but as noted previously, the text is from the actual study.  In fact, one Twitter member who quoted from the study had his account suspended for “violating the policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to Covid-19.”  Going back a couple hundred years, this action is like the British governors in the colonies condemning Paul Revere for spreading misleading and potentially harmful misinformation about the travels of the British army.

To make matters worse, there is now additional evidence that masks can be harmful and even deadly.  In an article published by the American Institute for Economic Research, it warns about Graphene, a material used in the fabrication of the blue masks we see everywhere.  It describes the danger of fibers breaking free from the mask and being inhaled by the wearer.

As also noted, “Health Canada has issued a warning about blue and gray disposable face masks, which contain an asbestos-like substance associated with “early pulmonary toxicity.” The warning is specific to potentially toxic masks distributed within schools and daycare centers across Quebec. Health Canada (and full praise to them)…. “discovered during a preliminary risk assessment that the masks contain microscopic graphene particles that, when inhaled, could cause severe lung damage.”

The Journal of the American Medical Association is quoted here.  “Face masks should not be worn by healthy individuals to protect themselves from acquiring respiratory infection because there is no evidence to suggest that face masks worn by healthy individuals are effective in preventing people from becoming ill.”

I live in a state that has not mandated mask wearing.  But many businesses still require masks.  Some, such as the grocery store and home center that I frequent, post signs at the entrance but do not enforce the policy.  The employees all continue to wear masks.  I must assume that in many cases the practice continues only so they keep their jobs.  Yet there are other businesses that will not allow entrance to anyone without the face diaper in place, covering mouth and nose.  They must not be aware that the FDA only issued Emergency Use Authorization for face masks.  As stated, “Federal law governing the conditions of authorization of unapproved emergency medical products (21 U.S.C. §360bbb–3(e)(1)(A)(ii)(III)) requires the secretary of HHS to “ensure that individuals to whom the product is administered are informed,” among other things, “of the option to accept or refuse administration of the product.”

I also believe that the general public is getting fed up with masks and I base that on two observations.  One, the percentage of customers I see without masks in the two stores mentioned, is increasing.  Two, many streets, parking lots and walking trails are now littered with the things.
