Slipping: New Indication Biden May Soon Step Down – Who Might Be the Next VP

The White House has sent a fresh signal that Biden may not complete his first term. As the 25th amendment stipulates, Harris would immediately become the President of the United States, but who takes over the second part of a new hyphenated administration?

Here’s Your Sign

A new directive issued by a top White House communications team member appears to elevate Vice President Kamala Harris’ role in running the federal government while gently pushing President Biden into the background.

A leaked email from an employee of a federal government agency reveals the White House is shifting toward a communication strategy that seeks to elevate Vice President Kamala Harris in all official White House business.

The directive, the employee reports, came from a top White House communications team member and instructs all agencies to refer to the Biden administration as the “Biden-Harris Administration” in place of the “Biden Administration.”

This new signal, seen just days after the president fell three times attempting to board Air Force One, adds doubt to whether President Joe Biden will complete his first term. While no single action gives a clear indication that Harris is about to ascend, the culmination of several unusual official acts hints that it may happen sooner rather than later.

  • The 2020 Presidential Inauguration was titled the Biden-Harris inauguration
  • The daily press guidance sent from the White House Communications Office has indicated that Harris attends almost every single meeting and event that Biden does
  • Harris has made introductory calls to foreign leaders – a task traditionally reserved for POTUS
  • Biden, after more than two months in office, has yet to hold a press conference and avoids questions from the press
  • Harris receives the Presidential Daily Brief in the Oval Office alongside Biden
  • Harris is closely situated at every public appearance – traditionally the president and VP are kept apart to avoid loss of both in a single event
  • Biden has referred to Harris as “President Harris” on more than one occasion

With all that, the people want to know – who gets Kamala’s old office should Biden step down?

Making the Choice

The U.S. Constitution gives the new president the power to nominate a vice president of their choosing. That nomination must be confirmed by a simple majority in both houses of Congress. But, who might Kamala Harris and her Democratic Party handlers choose to play second fiddle?

Traditionally, candidates for president have chosen running mates that balance out the ticket so that the pair can bring in support from a larger swath of voting bloc. If Biden slinks into retirement this year, Harris would enjoy 3 years without caring about support and she could decide not to run for re-election in 2024 allowing her to go hard left with her veep pick and push the most progressive policies in American history. If she wants a VP that could help her gain re-election in 2024, she’ll have to pick more of a moderate and likely someone who appeals to middle-class, white, working families.

Lasty, Harris will have to consider the Senate as she makes her choice. She will need every single Democrat in the Senate to vote to confirm her pick at which point, ironically, she’ll cast the tie-breaking vote.

The Who’s Who of Veepers

Possible Far-left Nominees:

  • Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer
  • Stacey Adams
  • Sen. Elizabeth Warren
  • Sen. Bernie Sanders
  • Cory Booker
  • Pete Buttigieg
  • Michelle Obama

Possible Ticket balancing choices:

  • Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear
  • Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf
  • Sens. Sherrod Brown Tim Ryan (OH)
  • Sen. Gary Peters (MI)

If Biden slides off into the sunset, Harris will get to nominate the next vice president. Who do you think she’ll pick?
