Media Lies And Trump’s Accomplishments In Spite of Them

Since President Donald Trump won the election, the media has churned out a plethora of lies against him that they try to pass off as fact. The reason his poll numbers are lackluster is that 90% of news coverage is negative. Despite their failure to report accurate or positive news on the Trump administration, he is still moving the country forward and freeing us from the socialist chains of Obama and the Democrats.

Specific examples of untrue news on the Trump administration:

They said Tillerson was going to resign – he’s not.

They said Paul Ryan was going to retire – he’s not.

They said Trump ordered certain words to be banned from the CDC which wasn’t true.

They said Trump was going to fire Mueller – he wasn’t.

Some other inflammatory stories perpetrated by the mainstream media that were later proven false include:

  • A secret server between Trump and a Russian bank discovered. (Slate)
  • The Russian International Television Network (RT) hacked C-SPAN causing disruption in its broadcast. (Fortune)
  • Links found between Trump ally Anthony Scaramucci and a Russian investment fund that is under investigation (CNN)
  • Unnamed Russians attempted to hack election systems in 21 states. (multiple news outlets)
  • Russia hacked into the U.S. electric grid last winter (Washington Post)
  • WikiLeaks has a long, documented relationship with Putin (Guardian)

How many made up lies is the media going to print? They don’t check facts anymore. Everything is based on rumor and innuendo and all negative in their constant hatred for Trump. They don’t report anything positive that is happening in the country thanks to Trump like the best economy in years, lowest unemployment in years, increased consumer confidence, two million new jobs created but the news is all hate and rage aimed at Trump- the country be damned. Trump is right in calling them “fake news.”

Yet in spite of all the attacks, fake news and firestorm something is happening in the final days of 2017. People are noticing that Donald Trump has gotten a lot done in his tumultuous first year in the White House.

In an article by Byron York, he said “Assume that tax reform passes and is signed into law. If in, say, 2014, a Republican, of either the conservative or moderate variety, predicted that in 2017 a newly-elected GOP president and Congress would —

  1. Cut corporate and individual taxes.
  2. Repeal the Obamacare individual mandate.
  3. Appoint a highly-respected conservative to the Supreme Court.
  4. Appoint a one-year record number of judges to the circuit courts.
  5. Get rid of reams of unnecessary regulations.
  6. Destroy ISIS.
  7. Approve pipeline projects and new oil drilling-then a lot of Republicans would probably have cheered.  Loudly.

Trump’s second-year agenda is unclear. There has been talk about an infrastructure bill and about welfare reform. But it seems likely that what Trump does in his next year will be anchored in his unilateral executive authority, just like his first year.
Perhaps the critical factor in whether Trump can succeed from a policy standpoint next year is whether he is able to attract high-quality people to his administration.

Of course, the president has hired many first-rate people in the White House and across the administration: John Kelly, Mike Pompeo, James Mattis, Neomi Rao, H.R. McMaster, Nikki Haley, Marc Short, and more. The question now, with the coming, inevitable departures from his administration, is whether the president can convince the best people, or even just really good people, to work for him.

The first thing a potential high-ranking Trump hire has to consider is the sheer difficulty of working for Donald Trump. Throughout the campaign and in the White House, Trump’s instincts have been remarkably consistent with those of many Republicans (and some independents) across the nation. But working in the atmosphere that he has created, and thrives in, can be a trial. What Trump needs in the second year are people who can endure that trial and focus on the president’s political instincts and more people aligned with him.

However, to have a successful second year, he needs to have an executive branch that fully supports him. This especially means having a Justice Department (and FBI) which is not working with the other side. He needs to replace Sessions with someone stronger and more committed to helping him fight off the deep state which had been colluding with Obama and Clinton to derail his presidency – and get Mueller, Rosenstein, and McCabe off his back. I recently saw this great comment that clearly defines Trump’s first year:

Travvy

“It would not be a great surprise if much of Trump’s second year consisted of reminding 2018 midterm voters of how much he did in his first year. Maybe that will be enough to keep Republicans in control of House and Senate, although the historical averages alone — presidents tend to lose a lot of congressional seats in their first midterm — argue against it.”

True. But how many President’s have done what he’s done, in his first year?

Record Stock Market.

Best GDP Numbers since God knows when.

Record Consumer  Confidence Numbers.

Lowest number of New Unemployment Recipients in 17 Years.

40,000 new Manufacturing Jobs.

Companies bringing their Jobs back to this Country.

ISIS Dead.

The Economy’s Alive, again.

TTP Dead.

Paris Accords Dead.

Neil Gorsuch on The Supreme Court.

Record Number of New Conservative Apellate Judges, confirmed.

Our Enemies, once again, FEAR US.

Anwar Drilling.

Keystone Pipeline getting built.

Dakota Pipeline getting built.

U.S. now an Energy Exporter.

MAGA!

And President Trump is doing all of this, despite 3/4 of DC throwing everything they have to stop him. Amazing man, and traitorous govt. Never has one president accomplished so much amidst so much negativity and media hatred and disparaging remarks around him.
