The most famous hole in golf just got another highlight as Sergio Garcia one-shot’s the iconic number 17 at TPC Sawgrass during The Players Championship.

Garcia then chose to celebrate his accomplishment by buying drinks for the media covering the event.
Accompanying the drinks was a note from Sergio saying “Michelob Ultra and Grey Goose compliments of Sergio Garcia. Hoyo en uno!!”
Garcia was in 50th place in the tournament Friday morning along with 15 other golfers. Jon Rahm, Mackenzi Hughes and William McGirt were in a three-way tie for first as the competition began its second round.
Players have commented that the course is in the best condition they’ve seen in years. The improvement is likely due to a warm winter and work by the grounds crew.
