Murdered Democratic Party Staffer Seth Rich sent DNC emails to WikiLeaks

UPDATE: Fox News has now retracted and deleted the original report which calls into question the information from the federal investigator and Rod Wheeler contained in their article.

DNC staffer killed in Washington, D.C. last July reportedly sent tens of thousands of internal Democratic party emails to Wikileaks just before his murder according to a Fox News (now deleted) report.

The report refutes Democrat politicians’ claims that it was Russia that hacked into DNC computers and released the emails. Instead, an unnamed federal investigator told Fox News that Democrat staffer Seth Rich sent the cache of internal emails to Gavin MacFayden, a London-based WikiLeaks director. WikiLeaks published the highly-damaging emails that detailed DNC leadership’s favoritism of Clinton over Sanders just 12 days after Rich’s death.

A federal investigator who reviewed an FBI forensic report — generated within 96 hours after DNC staffer Seth Rich’s murder — detailing the contents Rich’s computer said he made contact with WikiLeaks through Gavin MacFadyen, a now-deceased American investigative reporter, documentary filmmaker, and director of WikiLeaks who was living in London at the time.

“I have seen and read the emails between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,” the federal investigator told Fox News, confirming the MacFadyen connection. He said the emails are in possession of the FBI, while the stalled case is in the hands of the Washington Police Department.

Seth Rich died under suspicious circumstances. He was shot in the back twice but not robbed. His cell phone, jewelry, and wallet were on him when he died leading most to suspect foul play.

Just after Rich’s death, WikiLeaks offered a huge reward for information leading to the conviction of Seth’s killer and Republican lobbyist Jack Burkman has offered a separate $130,000 reward. The murder has not yet been solved.

A private investigator and former D.C. homicide detective was hired by Rich’s family, confirmed the information in the Fox News story.

“My investigation up to this point shows there was some degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,” Rod Wheeler said. “I do believe that the answers to who murdered Seth Rich sits on his computer on a shelf at the DC police or FBI headquarters.”

Also, Wheeler believes that someone in the government, the Democratic Party, or Hillary Clinton’s camp is blocking attempts to find the truth. Police have refused to release security footage from a market on the corner of the crosswalk where Rich was killed.
