Trump at Union Conference: For decades we’ve watched as our factories have shuttered

President Donald Trump spoke Tuesday afternoon at the annual legislative conference of the North America’s Building Trades Unions.

“I don’t want to be then president of the world,” the president said and reconfirmed his promise to put “America first.”

The president spoke about his upcoming push for over $1 trillion in infrastructure spending saying that regulatory reform will have to happen as red tape currently makes it impossible to get new projects done. He also raised a flow chart to illustrate the complexity of navigating the federal approval process.
