Evan McMullin’s Stand Up Republic Releases Anti-Trump “Russia Crisis” Ad

Stand Up Republic released a video on Wednesday supporting progressive claims that President Trump is colluding with the Russians.

The video, which looks more like a democrat hit piece, features the central claim that there are “mounting signs of hidden ties and shady deals” between the president and Russia.

Founded by failed presidential candidate Evan McMullin and his former running mate Mindy Finn, Stand Up Republic seems to be fundraising off of anti-Trump propaganda while claiming to defend “liberty, equality and truth.” The organization’s homepage features only a single video, an email sign-up and a “donate” button.

Considering Finn’s ties to the republican establishment, some educated guesses could be made about where funding for such an ad campaign might come from.

Ms. Finn is a veteran in digital politics having lead programs for the GOP establishment and its candidates Mitt Romney and George W. Bush.

Mr. McMullin is a former CIA operative and 2016 presidential candidate.
