According to NBC News, an ExxonMobil CEO is about to be nominated to one of the highest positions in the Trump administration.

Donald Trump is expected to nominate ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson as his secretary of state.

Tillerson has been with ExxonMobil since 1975 when he started as a production engineer and worked his way up finally taking the CEO job in 2006.

Tillerson is a board member for the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the President of CSIS said of Rex that he “has had more interactive time with Vladimir Putin than probably any other American with the exception of Henry Kissinger.”

Unconfirmed reports are that ambassador John Bolton will be offered the Deputy Secretary of State position under Rex Tillerson.
