Best Buy and Target offering free shipping for the holidays

Retailers Best Buy and Target are offering free shipping during the holidays for online orders.

Best Buy and Target have both announced that online purchases will ship for free from Black Friday through New Year’s Day in an effort to bolster their ecommerce platforms.

Offering free shipping ahead of the holiday season could help boost spending across Best Buy’s existing shopper base, which is already engaged on its e-commerce site. Moreover, the attractive shipping option could onboard new shoppers and help pull customers away from competitors.

Target has also said that they will be releasing coupons for $25 off on all orders over $100 and offering items that you can only get in-store.

Last year, Best Buy offered free shipping for orders $35 and over.
