Rand Paul goes full-on echo chamber during GOP debate
The rules for the January 14, 2016 GOP debate eliminated Rand Paul from the main stage along with Carly Fiorina and Rick Santorum based on … the number of people that might actually vote for them.
Carly and Rick attended the undercard debate anyway while Rand Paul pounded his fists, kicked and screamed and ran off to … Twitter to hold his own town hall.
I'll be live at @Twitter HQ for the #GOPdebate doing a Town Hall and Q&A! Send me your questions using #RandRally pic.twitter.com/4wGiyPL1xK

He has to debate no one, answer no difficult questions or answer to much of anyone. This is exactly how to preach to the choir. Rand Paul is making himself feel better by going deeper into the echo chamber. He will be speaking to the libertarian faithful, but to what end?
Rand is falling into the same trap as his father. Talk to the limited base, and if you don’t have the ability to bring in other voters .. give up and keep talking to those on your side of the wall.
Candidates that only talk to the establishment GOP are just as much to blame for the failures of the right as those that would only talk to those who are NOT establishment GOP. A brilliant leader would pull them together to create a base.
Rand is failing to figure out how to run a campaign different than his father and for that he will surely suffer the same fate as dear old Dad.
