America Down For The 8 Count

“It’s a huge struggle for us seeing how quickly the country is being dismantled, I have not yet encountered a fellow service member that signed up for this. Making the ultimate sacrifice, no problem. But this? I feel terrible saying this, but half the country does not deserve the freedom they did not earn.” This was said by Jon Garrick, a career military vet, believes America is in serious decline, with no solution in sight.

After reading that statement in an article it was a double edge sword for me. On the one hand it was very disheartening to hear that about our country. On the other hand it was a bit of a relief, because I knew I wasn’t the only one who felt that way.

There is no doubt that our country has fallen from its once great status. We came out of WW II the greatest country on the planet, patriotism was high, society was flying high, there was prosperity and a chicken in every pot, people were happy and Americans were on cloud nine. This lasted until 1965, that’s when the government started with all its social engineering crap and society started on its slow decline. Then when Obama took office, it was like an express elevator to the basement for our country.

I am 63 years old, and it’s like I went to sleep and woke up in a strange land where everything is the opposite of what America was. We now live in a society that dismisses God, but we glorify things like abortion, drug use, homosexuality, unwed motherhood, prostitution and same sex marriage.  A small but growing number of students and their families are demanding that schools make accommodations for transgender youths, who were born with the body parts of one gender but identify with the other. What kind of stupidity is this? You are either born a male or a female, if you think you are something else, you have a mental problem.

What about the normal kids, why should they be subjected to having someone of a different gender going to the bathroom with them? Why don’t we ask Obama if he would let a 15 year old boy in a dress go to the same bathroom or undress in the same locker room as his daughters? I think we all know the answer to that one.

Speaking of Obama, what kind of a president supports a cop killing hate group like black lives matter. All Obama is doing is throwing fuel on the fire and paving the way for more cop killings. Obama seems to sympathize more when a black thug dies than when a police officer dies. Let me give some advice to the black leaders, teach your kids not to be criminal’s, maybe that would save black lives.

We now live in a country where illegal aliens are protected by sanctuary cities, no matter what kind of crimes they commit. It seems like American citizens lives don’t matter much, because the poor illegal’s rights are more important. A pro-border enforcement activist says it’s outrageous that the Obama administration has started a new program that could allow illegal alien sex offenders to avoid deportation. The Obama administration is pursuing a political agenda “at the expense of the safety and security of the American people.”

I would never have thought in a million years that someone would get fired for praying, but low and behold, Bremerton School District instructed Coach Joe Kennedy to cease his tradition of praying on the 50-yard line after games, even though all the players joined him. I could have sworn we had freedom of Religion in this country, not freedom from Religion.

We have a school system now that gives children passing grades even though they didn’t pass. They don’t teach our children about patriotism like they did when I went to school. Instead they distort history so it fits in their left wing progressive agenda, which is to make America the bad and evil place in the world.

Truth is a thing of the past in our country because political correctness rules, we must watch what we say or else the P.C. Police will attack and demonize you, so much for the First Amendment.

We have a government that has grown so big that it is suffocating the American way of life. We now must watch what we say, how we act, what we do, and even what we think or else the big hand of the government will come down on you. Laws and regulation are strangling our way of life, we are truly inching toward a totalitarian system in this country.

America is down, and if we elect another Liberal-Progressive we will also be out. We need a strong leader, someone who is not afraid to speak up for what is right, someone who doesn’t care about Political Correctness no matter whose feelings he hurts. We need someone who is tough and is not afraid to show the rest of the world we are number one again. We need someone who has high moral standards, who believes in our Judeo-Christian roots and is not ashamed of it. But most of all we need someone who will put America and Americans first, unlike the president we have now.

There is much more that I can write about, so much more that I can write a book about it. Oh wait, I already did.
