Christy Shows Class Yet Again
“But I also want to assure the people of New Jersey today that what has occurred does not define us or our state,” he added. “This administration and this legislature will not allow the work that needs to be done to improve the people’s lives in New Jersey to be delayed. I am the leader of this state and its people and I stand here today proud to be both. And always determined to do better.” He said.
That’s ten times more classy and up front than anything Obama and Hillary would say or do, but the lamestream media draws the wagons around them every time because they all identify with them and not republicans.
I live near the bridge and have been across it many times. I’ve driven across it, walked across it and rode busses across it. The bridge has two sections. An upper section and a lower section. One time the upper section was closed for repairs and everyone had to use the lower section and vice versa and traffic was always backed up for days and even weeks. So people were inconvienced for a few days. So what? Big deal. This happens lots of times there. There are also bogus traffic jams. Does all this mean all those bogus traffic sites the people of New Jersey get stuck in will now be investigated? How many times have the people of New Jersey seen cones and traffic, but nobody working? I know I have. You can rest assured if bogus traffic jams were set up by Democrats in New York or New Jersey nobody would care.
The press is all gaga over the GWB scandal calling for investigations and special prosecutors. I wish they had been equally outraged over the deaths of four Americans in Libya which could have been prevented, the selling of guns to drug dealers, kidnappers, murderers and cartels in Mexico that killed our border guards, and the IRS targeting conservative groups and the expensive failure of Obamacare. At least nobody died in Bridgegate. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.
All Christie had to say at his press conference was, “ As someone recently stated, ‘What difference does it make?’ ” That would have stopped those left wing reporters from salivating or if Christie learned anything from Obama he could have said these: “If you like your traffic pattern you can keep your traffic pattern. Period.” or “A rogue agent in the Fort Lee office re-directed the traffic.” which is similiar to what he said and proabably was true. Like I said in my previous blog, the mayor of Fort Lee accepted Christie’s apology and said that nobody contacted him about endorsing Christie. It should have ended there.
