The Real Obama-Reid Shutdown

Jack Wheeler is a brilliant man who was the author of Reagan’s strategy to break the back of the Soviet Union with the star wars race and expose their inner weakness. For years he wrote a weekly intelligence update that was extremely interesting and well structured and informative. He consults(ed) with several mega corporations on global trends and the future, etc. He is in semi-retirement now. He is a true patriot with a no-nonsense approach to everything. He is also a somewhat well-known mountain climber and adventurer. The paragraph below excerpted from one of his writings describes Obama perfectly:

“The O-man, Barack Hussein Obama, is an eloquently tailored empty suit. No resume, no accomplishments, no experience, no original ideas, no understanding of how the economy works, no understanding of how the world works, no balls, nothing but abstract, empty rhetoric devoid of real substance.”

As I watched Obama’s press conference today I couldn’t help but think of Mr. Wheeler’s quote here. Obama’s answers to the press’ questions were all empty rhetoric. He said he’s ”willing to engage any leader on any issue and he’s always been willing to compromise all his political life.” WHAAAATTT????? All he’s been doing in these last few months of the debt limit and healthcare debate was to “refuse to negotiate” with  republicans. He went further to say that the senate democrats have been rejected by the GOP and “it’s not his way or the hiway as republicans are saying.” Oh yes it is Mr. President. You have stood fast in saying you won’t negotiate with the house and refused all their suggestions from defunding to delaying to sitting down and discussing the healthcare and debt ceiling debate and compromising. Each time he said no and now he has the audacity to say he’s always been willing to compromise?  He went on to mention in that arrogant, sarcastic tone of his that  “neither party has a monopoly on ideas and that the republicans are holding him for ransom.” As with everything with this guy it’s always saying one thing and doing the exact opposite.

He called for civility and said  that’s an easy word to follow yet it is his minions like Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chris Mathews, Ed Schultz that are  constantly being uncivil in their language calling republicans “terrorists” arsonists”  “obstructionists” and “people with bombs strapped to their chests.”

The shutdown is from Obama and Reid, but the ass kissing Obama mania media would have you believe it’s the republicans who are responsible. It was Obama who shut down the WW11 memorial in Washington and then ordered barb wire put around it after republicans removed the barricades. It was Obama who ordered the Vietnam memorial shut down. It was Obama who told the two senators from Colorado to keep the Grand Canyon shut down after they offered to keep it open with state funds. It was Obama who gave the order to park rangers to inflict as much pain as possible on the people. Obama still hasn’t opened the whitehouse to public tours since the sequester, but yet it’s the republicans fault.

In his song Mr. President” Ray Stevens a sums it up exactly saying “  Mr. President we have illegal aliens coming across our border/ drug lords creating mayhem and disorder/States trying to pay their benefits/stock market’s in the toilet/job market’s in the pits/Mr. President what are you going to do?

To which Obama replies:  “Listen real close to what I say/ Never let a good crisis go to waste/ I’m going to take off my coat and roll up my sleeves / turn on the telepromter and give another speech./ Act real cool and talk real soft then go out and play another round of golf / Blame George Bush and his capitalist ways / then shoot a few hoops and call it a day.”
