America Puts Its Tail Between Its Legs And Recruits For Al-Qaeda

I never like to comment of foreign policy, I just don’t know enough about it and I always believed that there is so much going on behind the scenes that we just do not know about, so I just keep my mouth shut. However, with the Al Qaeda threat that prompted the State Department to issue a worldwide travel alert and close down 21 embassies and consulates for the weekend I have to say, it makes America look weak and makes Al Qaeda look strong, a lot stronger than I thought they were.

A travel alert issued Friday warned Americans, It said: “Current information suggests that Al-Qaeda and affiliated organizations continue to plan terrorist attacks both in the region and beyond, and that they may focus efforts to conduct attacks in the period between now and the end of August.” Wait a second, didn’t Obama tell us Al-Qaeda was dead and on the run? As a matter of fact, Obama has described Al-Qaeda as having been “decimated,” “on the path to defeat” or some other variation at least 32 times since the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, according to White House transcripts. Campaigning in Bowling Green, Ohio, Obama again said, “al Qaeda is on the path to defeat.” That same day at Kent State University, Obama used the same line. Obama said the same thing on Sept. 27 in Virginia Beach, Va.

Retired Gen. Jack Keane, a military analyst, said the threat is yet another sign that Al Qaeda and its affiliates are emboldened and stressed that the U.S. needs to do a better job securing its embassies. He also said, it appears Al Qaeda is trying to build off the Benghazi terror attack. “When they sense weakness, they attack,” he said. “They believe that we’re pulling back, and they were stunned that we did not come after them immediately after that attack.”

The State Department said, “Current information suggests that Al-Qaeda and affiliated organizations continue to plan terrorist attacks both in the region and beyond, and that they may focus efforts to conduct attacks in the period between now and the end of August.”

Why does everyone seem to know that Al-Qaeda is alive and well and still out to kill every American that they can, except our President? Is he that naïve, does he think that by wishing Al-Qaeda away that will make it happen, has he convinced himself that it is so, or does he live in a dream world? I don’t know, but he needs to wake-up to reality soon, before the Al-Qaeda flag is flying over the White House.

Obama came into office believing that if America makes nice-nice to our enemies all will be right with the world and we will live in peace and harmony, he even went around the world apologizing for America, telling the world that America is no better than anyone else is. Obama believes that by talking down America, our enemies will embrace us and we will all walk hand in hand into the sunset.

Someone needs to wake our President up to reality, Obama is big on closing Gitmo, because he claims it is a recruiting tool for Al-Qaeda. Well I got news for Obama, closing those  21 embassies and consulates is probably the best recruiting tool our enemies could ask for, don’t you think our enemies will say, “come join us, we have America on the run, they fear us so much that they close up and run and hide whenever we threaten them.” Like I first said, I like to stay out of foreign policy, but I think this only emboldens are enemies and makes them stronger, I could be wrong, but that’s how I see it.
