Obama Should Have Learned From Jefferson

I have always believed that our Founding Fathers were the smartest men who ever lived; they created a nation that became the greatest country the world has known. You would think that instead of getting advice from Cloward & Piven, Obama might want to turn to our Founding Fathers for advice on how to govern, because he is not doing such a good job.

Below I have compiled a list of quotes from Thomas Jefferson, maybe Obama would be wise to review them.

There is no doubt in my mind that Obama would love to repeal the Second Amendment if he could, Jefferson thought otherwise.

Thomas Jefferson:

One loves to possess arms, though they hope never to have occasion for them.”

The constitutions of most of our States assert that all power is inherent in the people; that… it is their right and duty to be at all times armed.

For a people who are free, and who mean to remain so, a well-organized and armed militia is their best security.

One of the nicknames floating around for Obama is the Liar-in Chief, it seems hard for him to tell the American people the truth, because he lacks leadership.

Thomas Jefferson:

Whenever the people are well-informed, they can be trusted with their own government.

Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.

We have learned over the years that Obama believes in spreading the wealth around, that Government will take care of the people, (Socialism) which is so far removed from what our Founding Fathers believed.

Thomas Jefferson:

To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

If we can but prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people, under the pretence of taking care of them, they must become happy.

The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.

Obama truly believes that our National Debt does not matter and insists on spending more of our money on his failed policies. He believes the more that Government spends, the better our country will be.

Thomas Jefferson:

A wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circlue of our felicities.

It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.

”There does not exist an engine so corruptive of the government and so demoralizing of the nation as a public debt. It will bring on us more ruin at home than all the enemies from abroad …”

It is obvious that Obama still will not admit who our enemies are, he will not use the term war on terror and he will not admit that we have a Muslim problem, he believes that by making nice nice and ignoring our enemies, they will leave us alone. However, in reality, the opposite is happening and he is perceived as week.

Thomas Jefferson:

A coward is much more exposed to quarrels than a man of spirit.

It is always true, that when there is chaos, you must get back to basics, and this country is without a doubt in chaos. Maybe it is time to get back to basics, get back to what our Founding Fathers intended for this country.

Thomas Jefferson:

History, in general, only informs us of what bad government is.

If God is just, I tremble for my country.
