Abortion is murder

Abortion is the killing of an unborn child still inside the mother’s womb.

As a pro-life, right-wing conservative, I believe that Roe vs. Wade should be overturned. There is but one case in which I believe the abortion of a live fetus is warranted. If a woman has been raped and becomes pregnant as a result then quite obviously she did not want to have a child, at least not at that particular time in her life. In that respect I am a little bit more lenient, but if you are faced with the option of adoption or abortion I encourage you to choose adoption rather than abortion. Now if there is nobody who is willing to adopt the child then you could probably go with an abortion if you feel that is necessary, although I feel it is still wrong.

One of the Ten Commandments specifically says thou shall not commit murder. It makes me wonder if people are reading their Bibles on a daily basis. What angers me more is the fact that it costs four billion dollars to fund abortions – a waste of our money.

How did the idea of women having the right to choose came about in the first place? One possibility is that maybe someone misinterpreted one of the Constitutional amendments, that is women having the right to choose their leaders (right to vote) . Maybe someone read it in their minds as that women have the right to choose and totally skipped over the words “their leaders”. The other possibility is that maybe someone did not interpret the right to privacy the correct way. Maybe some people felt that abortion should be kept between a woman and her doctor and stay private.

If a woman does not want to have a child, then she should not have become pregnant in the first place. One way to ensure that women do not get pregnant is for them to abstain from sexual immorality or to use birth control. The government of China mandates a woman to have an abortion, if she gives birth to more than one child. Now you are probably asking why they do that. The reason is because there is not enough land over there in China due to so many people living there already. That makes me sit back, relax, and think of all the freedoms that we have here as U.S. citizens. Sometimes I look back and say to myself man I sure am glad that I live here in the United States of America and not in one of those countries out in the Middle East.
