State of UN and the State of Palestine

Today the “Palestinian” leader Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas formally requested full recognition of Palestinian statehood from the United Nations.  Of course the United States raised their half-hearted objection.  The essence of President Obama’s oratory to the esteemed assemblage was “Please don’t Let the Palestinians ruin my re-election?”

Benjamin Netanyahu, of Israel gave an impassioned and reasonable speech which lasted 36 minutes.  He made sense and demonstrated to the crowd of closed minded ambassadors of the world that there ought not be a “Palestinian” state unless they were willing to pursue peace rather than Israel’s annihilation.

Rest assured the the congress of international fools ignored reason, demonstrated that Obama has no world stature, and gave the Abbas and is assassins and terrorist a nod of approval and a round of applause.

I opened as I did to assure that nobody mistakes where I stand on this issue.  But, let me offer some objective information for the three reasonable people that remain in the universe.

One of the four original tenants contained in the United Nations Charter states “To achieve international co-operation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian character, and in promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion.”  This charter was adopted in the late 1040s.  It has been tucked in the back of the diplomat’s lockers under their dirty sweat socks for over fifty years.  It is stained, faded, folded and mutilated, but certainly not a guiding principle of that institution.

Under what description of the “Palestinian State” does Muslim controlled political interests possibly meet that objective of the UN.

First, the UN has caused more grief and damage in the Middle East with their silly resolutions regarding both Jews and and Muslim than any other entity on the planet or in history.  The UN has failed to “achieve international co-operation in solving international problems of an economic, social, cultural, or humanitarian character” in the Middle East.

Second, there is no definition of “encouraging respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion” that would include the national character of an Islamic group.  They routinely discriminate against race.  They routinely discriminate against gender. They routinely discriminate against religion.

The question remains how does this assemblage of wise and fair-minded international consortium of diplomat reach such a conclusion as to recognize “Palestinians” as a group prepared to assist in the UN’s first objective “To maintain international peace and security?”  It is absolutely beyond the bounds of any level of reason.  Yet, on they blindly march into the oblivion of irrationality.

There are only two causes for such off the wall behavior, or even discussion; greed or fear.  Far too many nations acting out of greed for oil pander to practices which are diametrically opposed to their own principles.  They and their comrades not in quite such need of dead and decayed fossil fuels the wring their hand together in fear that the nomadic band of terrorist might jump out and say “boo”.

Well, there is shame to be had for any nation that caves in to threats of terrorism, including the Unite States of American and our elitist president.  On rare occasion such people will rise up and scream, usually within the haunted hall of the UN building. They shake their fists in the air. and then as pretended conquering heroes  send their young to die in half-hearted effort to tame the Middle East insanity.

None of these giants among men dare believe out loud that perhaps Israel has been right all along.  The “Palestinians” simply refuse to discuss peace, but only annihilation.  If only Confucius had been Muslim when he said “Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.”  maybe the entire region would know peace.  But, rest assured it will not come through the United Nations.

Now, there is an essential question to ask.  Who can defined who the “Palestinian” people are.  The word phrase Palestinian Homeland was not even used until after the 1967 accords.  It is an absolute impossibility, even with the most expensive DNA analysis, to trace a single person on this planet back to an ancestry that pre-dates Israel in that region of the world.  Read that in capital letters.  IMPOSSIBLE!

Hence, what is the UN moving toward?  A monument to their collective cowardice and loss of purpose.

If the US wants to be part of that, which the present administration does despite the president’s shallow denials, than they should send all the diplomats home and turn the UN building into another mosque, because at present that is all it functions as now.
