P.C. Police Attack Glenn Beck for Show on Soros

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), otherwise known as the Politically-Correct Police, have decided that Glenn Beck must be condemned and *SURPRISE* the HuffingtonPost agrees.

Glenn Beck devoted significant time this last week to exposing George Soros, the left-wing extremist (otherwise known as “liberal”) billionaire for what he is – a destructive force against the free people of the world.

In some ways, I agree with the ADL.  The information on Soros was “horrific” – where I disagree was that Beck was untruthful.

Soros has, by his own admission been the behind-the-scenes financier and strategist in more than one national coup.  What’s seriously flawed in the post’s reporting is that they say that Beck played Soros for a Nazi sympathizer.  That’s not what Beck did.  Instead, Soros was portrayed as an agnostic.  He just hasn’t done anything to protect Judaism or Israel.  Even in the quote that the author used he failed to make it anything other than what Beck said:

..when he had to go over and take the lands from the people…who were being sent to the gas chambers, I can’t imagine what that would do to a teenager, anybody, an adult. Well, what did it do to George Soros? In an interview with Steve Kroft, Soros was asked if he felt guilt at all about taking the property from the Jews as a teenager. He responded, ‘no.’ He also said, ‘I don’t deny the Jews their right to a national existence, but I don’t want to be a part of it.

At what point does Beck say that he’s a Nazi?  This article just continues to show the radical left-wing media for what it is – biased and untrustworthy.  Arianna has giant hate groups like ADL to help spread her unfair, horrific and offensive messages which makes it much more difficult to get the truth out.  Heck, here’s the Media Matters video the author tried to use to make his false point:

The important point here is that Arianna Huffington, the Huffington Post and the ADL are all protecting an evil man – George Soros.  A man that has promised to give his own life if it would take down America.

While a naive progressive uses Beck’s words in an attempt to prove him a P.C. Offender, the author’s own quotes and vidieo show Soros to be the maniac that he is.

The ADL has positioned itself as being against anti-semitism, but protects Soros.  Their motives are clear, but not clearly stated.

The Anti-Defamation League was founded in 1913 “to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.”

How is the defense of a monster like Soros “fair treatment” or protection of the Jewish people.  Many would argue that Glenn Beck, Fox News, and Conservatives have done far more to protect Israel and her Jewish people than Obama and the far-left extremists.

Of Course, Arianna’s rag attacks anyone that isn’t out to destroy America.  In an unrelated article, the Huffington Post goes after Megyn Kelly for .. laughing – nevermind that Megyn just announced that she’s pregnant – hormones perhaps? The real story is about a medical procedure to cool heart attack victims using special techniques.  Kelly gets giggly when she posits that perhaps throwing a spouse in the freezer isn’t the answer. You’d think Arianna would understand, having daughters of her own, but she’s just go-for-the-throat progressive, just like the ADL.

Truth is unimportant.

Jon Stewart’s ‘Restoring Sanity’ Rally Audience Bought by Big-Business and Rich People

The progressive left’s mantra is that rich people, CEO’s and big corporations are evil.  They are the bane of existence for every sign-carrying, nightstick waving, big-government, union-indoctrinated liberal activist on the planet.  It comes as some surprise that Jon Stewarts mess of a lib-kiddy entertainment festival ‘Restoring .. something or other’ is being financed by the wealthy and corporate america.  Liberals don’t find that money offensive anymore?

It all started when Arianna Huffington offered to buy some busses to get New Yorkers to Stewart’s concert event. This post on The Wrap tells the story:

Arianna Huffington’s surprise gift to Jon Stewart — a convoy of shuttle buses to his “Rally to Restore Sanity” in Washington — was an even bigger surprise to the folks at the Huffington Post.

And the cost of the grand gesture — an estimated $250,000 for 100 buses for thousands of New Yorkers — is making some of Huffington Post’s finance executives wince, according to insiders.

HuffPo’s President Greg Coleman agreed that the gesture came a surprise, but denied that there was any internal tension as a result.

“Arianna has a sixth sense for promotion, for capturing lots of attention,” said Coleman in an interview with TheWrap. “We were surprised when she made that offer. She didn’t tell us. But inside the Huffington Post this does nothing to hurt our revenues.”

Good to hear that the Huffington Post won’t suffer.  At first it appeared as though Arianna was going to pay for this out of her own pocket.  you know .. the rich person dropping some change on the homeless guy kind of thing.  Then we heard from HuffPo’s President that they were working to turn this into a money-maker.  Ruh-rho .. mean rich person making money off of less fortunate?

HuffPo President Greg Coleman is now seeking external sponsorship to underwrite the convoy – and potentially turn the gesture into a money-maker.

When Arianna made the on-air announcement, Stewart couldn’t contain himself.

Oh my God, Arianna just Oprah’ed the buses!

Had Arianna out-Oprah’d Oprah?  Oh no my friend.. the Oprah strikes back.  Newsbusters has this little treat on Oprah’s response to being out-Oprah’d .. she’s Oprahing back.  (all these Oprah-isms are driving my spell-checker nuts)

In case Arianna Huffington plotting to spend an estimated quarter-million dollars on buses to the liberal Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert rally didn’t paint it as an Obama event, how about Oprah Winfrey? The Obama-endorsing, Obama-campaign-stumping Winfrey appeared via satellite on Thursday night’s episode of The Daily Show to announce that she was going to fly Stewart’s audience to Washington, D.C.,

Not to be outdone, Oprah is going to fly one of the live audiences from Stewart’s Daily Show to D.C.

Two rich people with massive corporations supplying Stewart with a bought and paid for audience.  Isn’t that sweet.  But it does get better.

On Thursday Big Hollywood published an article releasing a leaked email showing  that MTV is pressuring it’s employees to go to the rally.

Whether you lean left or right, hail from a blue state or red, prefer keeping sanity, fear, or a healthy dose of both alive and well, the one thing we all have in common is that we’ve pledged allegiance to the MTV Networks flag. And when an opportunity arises to support one (or two) of our own. we’ll take it pretty much every time.

You may have heard that Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are hosting a little get together on the National Mall in Washington, DC on Saturday, October 30th. … This will be a day when — no matter what transpires from Jon, Stephen, and their special guests — our brothers and sisters at Comedy Central will own the cultural conversation, without question. Who would want to miss that one?

It goes on to say that they’ll be providing buses for a free round-trip to the rally.  MTV and Comedy Central are both owned by the gigantic media corporation, Viacom.

So Jon Stewart has the rich and famous, elite and incorporated buying him an audience.  So much for grass-roots.  Not only that, but what about all those complaints that Conservatives are bought and paid for by big business and the wealthy?  It would appear the opposite is true.  The only thing left to figure out is that if we now have  buses and planes being provided for the rally, wonder if anyone will do trains or automobiles to finish out the quartet?

Huffington Attacks Obama on Economy, but Misses the Mark

Middle Class Hurt By Obama's Economic Policies

Arianna Huffington may have gone off the reservation.  In her article titled “Obama Insists He Made ‘The Right Decisions’ on the Economy – The Struggling Middle Class Begs to Differ”, Arianna tells it like it is:

In his otherwise excellent speech in Cleveland on Wednesday, the president showed that, when it comes to the plight of the middle class, he still doesn’t get it.

When she, or anyone else criticizes our tzar-in-chief for his absolute bungling of the economy, I have no problem piling on a mile high.  So when Arianna lit into that odd cross of Alfred E. Newman, Karl Marx, and the wacky professor, one might expect the usual “Shock and DUH!!” tweet from me.  As I read further I had a change of heart.  This rated a blog post.

Has Arianna come over to the good side of the force?  Had she and Castro been afflicted by simultaneous cathartic epiphanies on economic policy?  Might Wile E. Coyote finally catch the roadrunner?  Uh .. no.  As the article continues, something evil oozes out of the third paragraph (emphasis mine)

But the problem isn’t that his economic policies have been slow to succeed or [have been] unpopular — it’s that they have been inadequate given the magnitude of the crisis.

Huffington’s rant is that the Obarrasment hasn’t done enough to the economy.  What might she have the chief dork do:

  • Stimulus II: Attack of the 50 foot deficit
  • The really really new deal 2.1 service pack 3
  • Cash for who knows what
  • Bailouts for out-of-work liberal congressmen
  • A budget line-item for SEIU (non-discretionary spending of course)

The idea that Obama is failing because he hasn’t done enough is exactly wrong.  His Keynesian garbage is sending us into the crapper.  Had we followed a Conservative approach, there would have been no stimulus and no new massive (that’s massive.. spelled with a TRILLION FRICKEN DOLLARS)  entitlement programs, no cash for clunkers.. I could go on but I just ate.

This ham-handed approach to a recovery has done nothing to fix the economy and is in fact just slightly deflating one bubble while letting others over-inflate. Bubbles that instead should have been allowed to burst.  Yes, I know .. weathering the original crash would have been painful, but instead, we’re bleeding-out slowly waiting for the inevitable beheading that’s coming when we run out of places to juggle the bubbles.

Obama’s actions haven’t been inadequate – they’ve been immensly heavy-handed, ill-thought, and based on economic and social policies that have failed every place they’ve been tried.
