Another Declaration of Independence is Needed

I was honored to attend a presentation and Q&A with Vivek Ramaswamy at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire on Wednesday evening. Vivek may be the son of immigrants, but he is as Red, White, and Blue as any American could be. It was one of the most dynamic and inspirational ninety minutes I have ever experienced in the political arena. The night’s topic was what we need to do to battle WOKE, Inc, and I guarantee everyone in that hall left motivated to take action.

To battle WOKE, we need to identify the source, and you can point to our number one adversary to answer that question. China is our number one existential threat, and eradicating that threat must be on the mind of every American. Existential is such an overused term, but in the case of the Chinese, it may not be a strong enough descriptive. The Chinese government has infiltrated every aspect of our lives. From the phone at our ears to the shoes on our feet, the Chinese control us from head to toe.

The battle to eliminate the Chinese-sponsored WOKE philosophy will be a painful initiative. We rely on China for virtually everything from pharmaceuticals to computer chips used in every piece of technical equipment we touch daily. We rely on the CCP to finance our debt, and much of our processed food travels through Chinese plants. We allowed American companies to move their facilities to China to take advantage of what amounts to slave wages. America stopped manufacturing goods and became enamored with the “Made in China” label. They have stolen our intellectual property and defense technology to build a formidable military force they are threatening to use against us in two years.

We have built China into a superpower and need to cut the cord. One of the thoughts Vivek brought to us was the need for a second Declaration of Independence. The first was to separate us from an oppressive King who taxed us but refused representation. We now need to separate from an oppressive China dominating our lives with goods and ideas while invading our thoughts with TikTok and violating our sovereignty with spy airships.

Just as the Patriots banded together to defeat a superior British army and win independence for the colonies, we need to unify to stop the take-over of America by a Chinese government hellbent on world dominance. This situation we find ourselves in has morphed under both Democrat and Republican Administrations. There is plenty of blame to go around. The focus now has to be on reversing our ills and reclaiming America.

What we need to do in our lives is educate and speak our minds. We cannot rely on the government to educate us, as evidenced by our failing department of education. We must learn and have the power to make the changes necessary to divorce ourselves from China. We also must shed our fear to speak our minds and share our opinions. Voicing my opinion is what I have done for the last two years. In over 750 published articles, I have taken off the mask and written from my heart and soul. This process has cost me dearly with damaged or broken relationships, but I refuse to compromise my convictions. We will win this battle, but not if we continue to widen the divide between us. In 2024, we need to choose leaders who believe in the American experiment, not the WOKE movement.

I have been a fan of Vivek Ramaswamy for some time and always felt I learned something each time I saw him on FOX. Last night, he elevated himself to a hero in my eyes, giving us a blueprint to bring America back to greatness. Vivek is a young man to listen to; he walks the walk and shares his thoughts with anyone who listens.
