CNN’s Dana Bash Claims ‘There Is No Evidence’ Of Legal Double Standard After Hunter Skips Jail Time In DOJ Deal
CNN host Dana Bash claimed “there is no evidence” that “two tiers” of justice exist Tuesday following Hunter Biden’s deal with the DOJ to avoid jail time on federal gun and tax charges, which many Republicans and legal experts criticized as a “sweetheart” deal.
“Those who feel the need to or the desire to defend Donald Trump are making the same arguments that they are making against Hunter Biden, which is allegations that the DOJ is — that there are two tiers of justice, and that is one for Democrats, the other is Republicans. We can’t say this enough: there is no evidence to prove it at all,” Bash said.
The Justice Department announced Tuesday that Biden would plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges, while a felony charge of lying on the form filled out when purchasing a firearm would be addressed via a pre-trial diversion program. Former President Donald Trump entered a plea of “not guilty” to all counts during his arraignment last week, after Special Counsel Jack Smith secured a grand jury indictment on 37 counts, including violations of the Espionage Act.

Bash turned her attention to Republicans in Congress who ripped the announcement of the plea deal, which legal experts also denounced as a “joke.”
“We need to also point out that the U.S. Attorney in Delaware is a Trump-appointee intentionally kept by Joe Biden to try to take away the appearance of any political influence by the Biden White House, but that doesn’t stop the politics of this, particularly when you are talking about a conservative media ecosystem through which many of these Republicans on Capitol Hill, who Manu is talking about and getting statements from, are going right out into the ecosystem,” Bash added. “It is about fund-raising, and it is about raw meat to the base.”

Lets review:
In the same week that Trump got another fake indictment, we learned that Joe Biden and Hunter, each got a 5 million dollar bribe from Burisma. That’s the Ukrainian energy company that gave Hunter a “no show” Board of Directors job for 87,000 a month. And then Biden bribed Ukraine with a billion dollars in U.S. aid to fire the prosecutor that was looking into corruption at Burisma. And the same company that they impeached Trump over for asking Ukrainian President Zelenskyy to “look into” corruption at that company.
Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and Michael Sussman; all colluded and lied to concoct and use the fake “dossier” to launch a Special Prosecutor investigation against Trump. When that failed, then all the Democrats lied and conspired again to launch two failed impeachment attempts to unseat a duly elected President. They locked up General Flynn when the FBI conspired to trap him into supposedly lying, but James Clapper and John Brennon openly lied to Congress with no consequences, got their full retirements and (like Strzok and McCabe) are now paid commentators on CNN and CNBC. Then Biden and (his now Secretary of State) Blinken got them to come up with the letter signed by Brennon and Clapper and 49 other intelligence “experts” to lie and say that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian “disinformation” to influence the 2020 election. That’s called election interference and it’s blatantly illegal and proves that the 2020 election was rigged.
It’s all documented by Durham and now provable but yet there are never any indictments for Democrats. Without consequences there is nothing to stop this illegal and treasonous behavior and so It will continue and likely get worse. I don’t know if there is a way back from these levels of lying, deceit, subterfuge and corruption that, like a cancer, has infected our entire body of government and make us no better than any other Dictatorships in the world.
