A Manufactured Crisis?

While Trump argues for funds for his much-needed border wall and Dems try to obstruct, the crisis at the border is getting worse. Trump wants to stop gangs, cartels and human trafficking from coming in here and protect our country while the Dems and their willing accomplices in the press are calling it a “manufactured crisis.” Well, let’s look at some of the facts of this so-called “manufactured crisis.”

Border agents stopped a truck recently that had enough of the drug fentanyl to kill 52 million Americans.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Kevin McAleenan had to correct Democrat Sen. Richard Blumenthal on Wednesday after Blumenthal falsely claimed that border crossings are at a historic low during a Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing about human trafficking on the U.S.-Mexico border. New, awful data shows that the border invasion is worse than ever

CNN reported on Tuesday that “more than 76,000 people were apprehended crossing illegally or without proper papers in February, the highest number of ‘encounters’ in any February in the last 12 years, according to CBP.”

A record 76,325 apprehensions for one month is truly staggering, not only because it’s the single worst month at the border since fiscal year 2008, but because almost all of these people get to stay on our dime. Projected for the whole year, this pace would result in 916,000 apprehensions. But the pace is growing every month, because the catch-and-release expands. As the Washington Post observes, “The number of migrants taken into custody last year jumped 39 percent from February to March, and a similar increase this month would push levels to 100,000 detentions or more.” That would be an annual pace of 1.2 million.

Illegal immigration this year is on pace to more than triple the levels of just two years ago, new projections reveal.

In the month of February, there were more than 76,000 illegal border crossings and inadmissible foreign nationals, the most in this month in 12 years — a record for President Trump’s administration.

Princeton Policy Advisor Steven Kopits now projects that illegal border crossings for this calendar year will be more than three times what they were in 2017 and nearly double last year’s total crossings. The projection predicts there will be more than 840,000 illegal border crossings this year, though Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen predicts about 900,000 crossings

Only about 40 miles of replacement fencing have been built since Trump’s election, although about 124 miles of new wall and replacement fencing has been approved by Congress. This month, about 14 miles of new wall is expected to be constructed in southern California and some new portions of a wall have been constructed in the El Paso, Texas region.

Today, the majority of the U.S.-Mexico border remains open. At the same time, the U.S. has continued funding border walls and border security programs in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, and Lebanon.

Mumps cases reached a high of 191 in 2016, officials stated. This was the highest number in 22 years. Detention center operators are required to report illnesses that occur among their migrant population and those affecting personnel. Required reporting includes cases of mumps, measles, chicken pox, HIV/AIDS, tetanus, hepatitis, and tuberculosis, officials said.

While migrants are screened for illness or mental health issues upon their initial intake, symptoms of mumps can take up to 25 days to appear. U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement officials previously told Breitbart News that families can only be held for 20 days without a hearing.

Democrats have been saying “there is NO emergency” and ” illegal immigration is down” ??

Meanwhile, 4000 homicides were omitted by illegals in two years, 30,000 sexual assaults in two years,100,000 regular assaults and 90% of all heroin comes across that border. The border patrol has apprehended over 268,000  individuals since the beginning of this fiscal year, a 97% increase over last year and 20,000 children were illegally smuggled in the U.S. during the month of December. Researchers also noted that 80,000 migrants were raped on the way to the U.S. and forecast 103,000 this year.

Yet the Democrats all say this is a manufactured crisis. The Democrats don’t look at it as a crisis on the border. They look at it in terms of votes.
