Obama budge to tax nearly everyone

The Washington Post reported the a nonpartisan analysis found that ” earners at nearly every income level would face a somewhat higher tax burden.” The Tax Policy Center study found that Anericans earning less than $200,000 will pay higher taxes despite the President’s 2008 pledge to the middle class unequivocally stating that they would see absolutely no increase in taxation. The result will ...

Illegal Aliens and Amnesty By Dictate

The more things change the more they stay the same.  I am amazed at the scam Marco Rubio is trying to pull on the American people.  The “Gang of 8” comes up with this great plan that will “protect We the People” while showing some “compassionate conservativism” towards those who break our immigration laws.  Of course, as is the usual case, ...

President speaks on capture of last marathon bombing suspect, oddly, no one cares what he has to say

President Obama made a wandering and odd speech on the capture of the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing on Friday. Stranger still, no one really cared what he had to say. The President spent his political capital on gun control. A wasted effort to get Americans to agree that allowing the government to have more rights than the people was ...

Chechnya – Republic in turmoil

Chechnya has been a republic in turmoil since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991. Terror attacks in Russia have often been perpetrated by Chechens, and the region has been considered a hot bed for terrorism. However, this has not been widely reported or talked about in the U.S., and for good reason. Traditionally, Chechnya has been considered a ...

One Down!!!!

The case of the Boston marathon bombers is certainly a bizarre one indeed.  Now we discover they are two Chechnyan muslim kids who came here at ages 9 and 16 and lived here for ten years. What Obama doesn’t understand about the American entrepreneur

Our President bemoans those with means. Unfortunately, he doesn’t even understand what “means” means or what a “job” really is. When was the last time our commander-in-chief decided not to cash his own paycheck so that his employees could cash theirs? I did that just two weeks ago and will likely do it again in the near future. When was ...

Deconstructing Obama’s Alinsky Message On Gun Control

President Obama made a very interesting decision on Wednesday by not only appealing to people’s emotions, but also openly demonizing and mocking the NRA and the U.S. Senate for not passing the Manchin-Toomey plan. It is several tactics defined by Saul Alinsky in “Rules For Radicals.” The first is openly ridiculing the NRA, gun owners and the Republicans (and ...

Obama responds angrily to gun amendment failures in Senate

The Senate voted down the Manchin-Toomey gun background check amendment as four democrats and four republicans crossed the aisle to defeat the measure in a bipartisan vote. “All in all, this was a pretty shameful day for Washington,” Obama blasted in a temper tantrum against gun rights supporters, republicans, conservative democrats and others that prevented the legislation from passing. Ultimately, ...

Sen. Tom Coburn: Charlatan or Traitor?

My wife and I recently sent separate e-mails to Sen. Tom Coburn asking him to join Rand Paul’s filibuster of Harry Reid’s latest gun control scheme.  We sent messages on the same day, she from her office and me from our home.  Neither of us knew about the other until that evening when we sat down for dinner and discussed ...

Jay Carney: Obama ‘does not and cannot’ take position on Gosnell

Very interesting. Obama cannot take a position on the House of Horrors abortionist, but he has no problem inserting himself into other cases that are ongoing, such as the Trayvon Martin case.  The House of Horrors case does not fit his agenda, so he wants to be silent on the issue. Jay Carney simply calls the matter “unsettling”. Unsettling? That’s all you ...
