Biden Press Secretary Jen Psaki Still “Smitten” with her own Fairytales
Half of America is smitten with [WH Press Secretary] Jen Psaki. [Many] WH press corps [are] taken with how polite she is…. While Trumpites [are] belligerent, Psaki’s tone is measured and warm; … She’ll ask after your kids or spouse … She’s firm and sunny. She makes people feel good about their interactions. She’s never super-helpful, and that’s frustrating, but that’s kind of her job. It’s [kinda] weird where you leave the process feeling good [but] when you hang up the phone, you realize: F—, she said nothing helpful.

After [Trump] lost four years ago, he refused to accept the outcome and incited a violent insurrection on [the] Capitol. He campaigned while facing criminal indictments [over] his efforts to overturn the 2020 results, and he’s run as a convicted felon. … [H]e has promised to essentially be an authoritarian leader, to use power like no American president ever has and wield that power to go after his political enemies. … [He has] bragged about overturning Roe v. Wade and stripping away women’s bodily autonomy. He’s promised to conduct mass deportations, to crack down on the rights of millions of Americans. Trump is an antidemocratic force, but … elected democratically … And here’s [the] hardest part. … Trump was elected by expanding his support over a number of key groups.
MSNBC’s Jen Psaki, Joe Biden’s former Press Secretary, election night 2024 after Trump declared the winner of the presidency
On election night 2024, immediately after Trump was declared the winner of the presidency, Psaki, whose job as Biden’s “Press Secretary” was to avoid answering any of the peasant’s questions, delivered a bitter statement, including many false or misleading claims, about Trump, regretting that the Democrat’s and “news” media’s never-ending series of hoaxes and smears against Trump had not worked. It may be useful to go through her claims one by one.
First, Trump did not “incite a violent insurrection on our nation’s capitol” on Jan. 6, 2021. If I am wrong Psaki can cite for me the record of Trump’s conviction for inciting a violent insurrection, or, failing that, at least his indictment, by the indictment-happy Jack Smith (recently seen abandoning his silly indictments). Psaki cannot do this because there was no “insurrection” on Jan. 6th, 2021. There was a riot, for which Nancy Pelosi is on tape on that day taking responsibility, but, as Jonathan Turley and other liberal legal scholars have admitted, it was not an insurrection. Further, it is documented that Trump asked in advance of the day for a substantial National Guard presence for Jan. 6 but was turned down by Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser. My own view, should opinions still be permitted in what remains of our country and Constitution after 4 years of Joe Biden, is that the Democrats wanted a disturbance on that day so that they could blame it on Trump but themselves became afraid when it got out of hand. Try approving the National Guard next time, Democrats! This is not “rocket science.” Duh!
The American people, who Psaki, the Democrats, and their army of dependable media poodles have dramatically underestimated, have in the 2024 presidential election rendered their judgement on Psaki’s claim that Trump “campaigned while facing criminal indictments related to his efforts to overturn the 2020 results and … as a convicted felon.” It turns out that most saw through all these silly rigged “Stalinist” indictments and the silly New York conviction. In fact, numerous Democrats and “liberal” scholars, GWU Law Professor Jonathan Turley, Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz, Democrat New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (Albany J.D.), Andrew Cuomo’s brother CNN and ABC News presenter Chris Cuomo (Fordham J.D.), CNN legal analyst Eli Honig (Harvard J.D.), Yale Law Professor Jed Rubenfeld, Democrat Pa. Senator John Fetterman (Harvard MPP) and even Obama supporter Judge Judy Scheindlin (NYU J.D.) have pilloried these silly cases before the election. For example, Alan Dershowitz has said about Trump’s alleged attempt to “overturn” the 2020 election that “Al Gore, his legal team and I tried to find uncounted presidential votes, lobbied officials and fought in the courts in 2000. The only difference now? The candidate’s name is Donald Trump …That’s why this prosecution is an outrage.”
One might also add the conservative legal scholars and professors that have slammed these cases too, including Stanford University History professor Victor Davis Hanson, Andrew McCarthy (Columbia University J.D.), Mark Levin (Temple University, J.D.) and Laura Ingraham (University of Michigan, J.D.).
Trump has not “bragged” about being an “authoritarian” leader. In fact, he has explicitly said he will not do that. Is Psaki referring to the comical “dictator on day one” hoax? Perhaps Psaki is confusing Trump with the tyrannical Biden-Harris administration that has tried to lock up its political opponents. Hopefully, however, Psaki does not believe that Democrats who broke the law should be immune from accountability.
Trump has not “bragged about … stripping away women’s bodily autonomy.” Please show us, Psaki, where Trump said that because I cannot find it. What Trump has bragged about is overturning Roe vs. Wade so that difficult questions about where the woman’s bodily autonomy ends and the “child’s” (Joe Biden’s word) bodily autonomy begins can be democratically decided by voters in each state. For some mysterious reason, Paski has neglected to mention the bodily autonomy of the “child”. Please tells us, comrade, if the unborn child has any rights or whether it can be casually discarded like an unwanted tumour! We can’t wait to hear your brilliant answer to a difficult philosophical question! Slogans and bumper stickers not acceptable. So far, many states, including conservative Kansas, have enshrined abortion rights at the state level. It’s called “democracy.” Since Democrats are always talking about “saving democracy,” one assumes Psaki has heard of it. So please tell the truth, comrade, rather than spouting sophistical Democrat Party slogans!
Please tell us, Psaki, where Trump has “promised” to “crack down on the rights of millions of Americans” because I cannot find that either. Trump has promised is to move to deport the millions of illegal aliens (that is the correct legal term) the Biden administration recklessly invited into the country for its own political purposes. These things called “courts of law” will decide whether any American’s rights have been violated and, if need be, correct it. It is, admittedly, likely that many people will be hurt by these deportations. But the proper moral to draw from that is that irresponsible administrations should not recklessly invite millions of people illegally into the country for their own political agenda, thereby making plenty of pain inevitable. It is worth pointing out that vague expressions such as “crack down” are very useful to sophists and other propagandists. Did the Biden administration “crack down” on the rights of Catholics and conservatives?
In Trump massive 2024 victory, winning the popular vote and all 7 swing states, the American people rejected the Democrat’s never-ending corrupt lawfare, hoaxes, smears and lies. Psaki, along with plenty of other Democrats, has not got the obvious message yet. Perhaps the Democrats should start thinking about trying to win by solving the people’s problems instead of by trying to put their political opponents in prison.
