Democrats and their Media Poodles Officially Certify their Independence from Reality

Allan Lichtman … [the so-called “election Nostradamus”], distinguished History professor, American University, using his Keys to the White House prediction system …  predicts a Harris victory.

Brandeis University, Oct. 29, 2024

Trump is toast.

Leftist Filmmaker Michael Moore, Oct. 4, 2024

I think I have credibility for this prediction.  … Ever since the Hollywood access tape where [Trump] said he’s going to grab women by the pussy and he survived that [audience laughter].  Tonight, I’m saying, “Its over [for Trump]” [audience cheers].  I’m going to make an analogy.  [Long ago] there was a guy named Joe McCarthy [who] had a hold on America and it [disappeared] in 2-3 years.  And I feel like [with] “eating the dogs” we’re at this point.  We’re at “Captain Queeg with the strawberries”.  I think [Trump’s] going to lose.

The latest national NBC News poll finds 65% of voters say the country is on the wrong track, the first time since September 2022 that figure has dipped below 70%.

NBC News, Sept. 27, 2024

President Trump has pulled off a stunning comeback in the 2024 election, riding on a multiracial coalition of supporters that not only powered his Electoral College win, but also appeared to vindicate his controversial politics by awarding him the popular vote.  His triumph in the Nov 5 election was not just the story of a base energised, but a base significantly expanded.

The Straits Times, Nov. 7. 2024

Republicans win House, delivering Trump a trifecta [the presidency, the House and Senate].

The Hill, 11/11/24

Donald Trump has become the first Republican in 2 decades to secure the popular vote in the US presidential elections … since George W Bush [did it] in 2004.

NDTV World, Nov. 6, 2024

At least 13 Democratic Senate candidates appear to have outperformed Harris on Tuesday, even those who lost their contests, like Sherrod Brown in Ohio. He lost to Bernie Moreno by 4 points, but Harris lost to Trump in Ohio by 11 points.

New York Times, Nov. 6, 2024

With one monumental swing—the 2024 election—Trump took down the four “political mafia” families that have plagued Americans for decades.  Now, everyone knows it.  Even the left-wing press has no choice but to admit it. The opening line of this Axios article says it all: “Trump has vanquished the Bushes, the Clintons, the Bidens, the Obamas—and the entire establishment of both parties” [emphasis in the original]. Trump has slayed the globalist dragons who, for decades, pretended to be on opposite sides of the aisle while, in truth, fighting together as a globalist “uniparty” crushing the middle class with glee.

There’s a lot of people that don’t speak their mind. Do you know many artists have reached out to me that are like f***ing hippies, man, like artists, like musicians, comedians that thanked me for endorsing Trump because they can’t do it?  They said they want to but they don’t want to be attacked. They can’t say it. They think the country’s going in the wrong direction.

Joe Rogan, Nov. 15, 2024

Joe Rogan went on to say that [after the election] Biden felt joy at Harris being soundly defeated, recalling [when Biden] placed a Trump hat on his head while campaigning.  “I guarantee you, that mother—-er [Biden] was happy.  He had a giant smile on his face … [as] he said, ‘Welcome back’ to [Trump].”

Yahoo News, Nov. 15, 2024

After confidently predicting Trump was ‘toast,’ Michael Moore [after the election] lashes out [that] Americans are ‘Not a good people’.

Foxnews, Nov. 15, 2024

I don’t think I called any (keys) wrong.  The contest was problematic by what went on by the Democratic Party but I don’t think you can say I called it wrong except for in retrospect.  At the time, it was the more reasonable call.

Allen Lichtman, Nov. 8, 2024

Incapable of reflection, Democrats double down after election shellacking.  The party of diversity, equity and inclusion became radically exclusionist. … They demonized majorities of Americans, but particularly straight, white males (wrong thinkers any) and anyone who has been financially successful.  [Harris’] entire campaign was demonizing Trump and his supporters, …  The media, an extension of the Democratic Party, also has serious issues …. Rather than introspection, [they] doubled down on every divisive, terrible policy, not blaming Democrats or Harris but blaming voters instead.  Trump [voters] are misogynists, racists, fascists and so on … in [the media’s] continuing fictional narrative of America. … This will be hard to watch and ugly to withstand in the coming years … because [it seems] the base of the [Democrat] party has gone off the rails of reality.

Human Events, 11/15/24

Ideological blindness, individuals have difficulty processing or accepting information that contradicts their pre-established beliefs, involves several areas of the brain associated with emotional and cognitive processing. … High intellectual capacity needs to be accompanied by an ability to manage emotions (emotional intelligence). …  [Since] IQ tests [don’t] measure emotional and social intelligence, people with high IQ may [have] emotional blindness.

It’s a tad hard to get things right when one rejects reality as something beneath oneself, something unworthy of one’s various charts, “keys” and utopian daydreams, one’s Sociology 101 course or MSNBC’s and CNN’s daily laughing and giggling sessions, that is, when one has not developed the emotional maturity to enable one to face facts like adults.   For example, if one can read at the 7th grade level, one can verify that Trump did not say he grabs women by the pussy.  He only said, in an obviously jocular conversation, that “stars” do that, not, specifically, that he does it.  Perhaps it is a bit too much for Maher to grasp that Trump miraculously “survived” that scandal because the American people want their problems solved, not watching lightweight media prima donnas play “gotcha” games.

One would think that after all their hoaxes over the past 8 years, all the stupid things they have been caught saying, and after having received the latest shellacking from Donald Trump (who they all think is far inferior to themselves), the Democrats and their media poodles would be moved to some modicum of self-reflection.  One would be wrong.  They are as determined not to learn anything today as they were the day before the election.  Astonishingly, Nostradamus (that would be Lichtman) still believes he didn’t miss anything important at the time.  Maher is still looking for a punchline.  Moore is still smearing Americans who believe they have a right to object to Biden’s record number of deaths at the southern border or the prices of basic necessities (not a problem for multi-millionaire comrade Michael Moore).  CNN and MSNBC panels are still laughing at how stupid Trump is.  It’s all about being clever, as opposed to solving problems – which is why America never solves these problems, black kids trapped in failing schools, wasting billions on government boondoggles, the lies that crime has not risen under Biden-Harris, homeless and poop, and discarded needles all over our streets, etc., etc., again and again into the future.  But it’s not their fault.  It’s yours … for not submitting to these shameless self-serving hustlers.
