Democrat and “News” Media Comedians Struggle to Understand the Obvious
[There’s] a lot of Americans out there trying to make sense [of what] happened. There are those who think that this is a manifestation of ugliness of Americans, a vote for bigotry, misogyny or racism … But … voters … voted [as] they did, not because of those parts of the MAGA movement or Trump’s [past] comments. It’s not about vindicating Trump or the lawsuits, the criminal charges or the impeachments. The people who decided this election … don’t like the country now and, whether people like it or not, Trump ran an issues-based campaign about the economy, people [suffering] at the grocery story [and] the crisis at the border. The first couple of years the Biden-administration were in denial and … acted like anybody asking questions about it were reading right-wing talking points. [And] the wars now [in] Ukraine and the Middle East … not [happening] during the Trump administration. I want to reassure because I think there are people out there who think that this vote means a dislike of them.

[J.D.] Vance responded [to ABC’s Martha Raddatz], “Do you hear yourself? Only a handful of apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs, and Trump is the problem, not Kamala’s open border?” Yes, she heard herself. This isn’t a problem because it doesn’t happen in her neighbourhood. … Raddatz and her husband, NPR journalist Tom Gjelton, live in a section of Arlington with multi-million-dollar homes, manicured lawns, low crime. The illegals [there do] domestic chores and are to be seen, not heard. [A] 2017 article gushed how Raddatz and Gjelton just spent “$2.125 million for a vintage home on a coveted block in Arlington, VA.

The biggest loser following Tuesday’s astounding election—besides the Democrat Party’s agenda—is the corporate media that desperately tried to manufacture a president. … Harris ran a Woman in the High Castle campaign cultivated by the same fawning friendly legacy media that covered up for her predecessor’s infirmities for four years. But every single narrative the media cooked up since Biden left the presidential race in July has crumbled. Harris wasn’t bringing the politics of “joy” to America, … Americans were in a dark mood. The cost of living exploded during the Biden-Harris presidency, the chaos at the border affects nearly everyone, the global geopolitical landscape [looks] ominous and worsening. … [T]he catastrophe for the legacy media goes beyond the fact they couldn’t manufacture a president out of nothing. What this election proved is that America simply doesn’t need or trust them, don’t listen to them [anymore], and tune them out.

I think I can help you, Jake, make sense of the massive Trump victory at, it appears, all levels, including the popular vote. But not, of course, just you. Most of the usual partisan Democrats and clueless talking heads featured on the so-called “news” media the day after election looked as if their dog had just died. But nobody’s dog died. You all just got a lesson in democracy, the real democracy, not the fake democracy the Democrat “News”-media Colluders have been peddling, and you don’t like it.
Here are a few hints what went wrong: Where do I start?
Let’s start with the record number of dead people, 853, at the southern border in 2022, including a lot of children. And it isn’t just 2022. Human Rights Watch: “Documented deaths and disappearances hit record highs during Biden’s term.” I know you don’t see many dead people in your “insanely magnificent” home in your mostly white Forest Hills,” Jake, but perhaps you can “reimagine” what dead people are, right? And, no, Jake, Biden-Harris were not “in denial” about the border. They lied about it repeatedly for years.
Next one might move to the possible 320,000 migrant children that the Biden-Harris administration “lost” track of. Now that’s a rather high price to pay for the Biden-Harris’ determination to import more future democrat voters into the country isn’t it, Jake? Don’t the Democrat “News”-media Team usually find a picture of a dead child whenever they need to smear the Trump administration for wanting to follow immigration law?
And one cannot forget the horrific increase in crime, including violent crime, during the Biden-Harris that what’s left of the FBI just managed, “quietly,” to discover. Unfortunately, the people who don’t live in your “picturesque” Forest Hills or His Majesty’s mostly white Venezuelan-free Martha’s Vineyard knew this already.
This recalls the way the so-called “news” media constantly covers for Democrats, e.g., the way comrade Muir incorrectly “fact checked” Trump’s claims about Biden-Harris rise in crime at that absurd 3-vs-1 tag-team match against Trump, or CNN’s Phil Mattingly’s fake reports about Jan. 6th, or ABC’s Rachel Scott’s nasty fake charges against Trump in her fake interview, or all the silly Jan. 6th “insurrection” talk, the absurd Stalinist lawfare against Trump, CNN’s Dana Bash imitation interview with Harris, CBS changing Harris’ answers to make it appear she can provide coherent answers, the government-media co-operation to censor conservatives, etc., etc., is the rule, not the exception. There are all the silly anti-Trump hoaxes, from the pathetic Trump-Russia collusion hoax funded by a fake Russian dossier Saint Hillary purchased from a retired British spy who got it from a Russian(!), the “Trump praised NAZI’s and White Supremacists” at the Charlottesville hoax that Biden used to justify his presidential run, etc., all peddled by hyperventilating eye-bulging media talking heads since Trump first came down the escalator. Frankly, most of our “news” media is literally a joke now. Nobody trusts the “news” media anymore and nobody should.
Since you all sit in your “newsrooms” talking only to people that share your own prejudices and studiously studying the insides of your own eyeballs, the only thing the “news” media can do at this point to regain credibility, apart from firing all of you and starting over with a new cast, is to start regularly having equal numbers of liberals and real conservatives (not Liz Cheney so you can claim you have a Republican) but people like Vivek Ramaswamy, Stephen Miller, Victor Davis Hanson and Ben Shapiro.
One more thing. Try running a candidate next time who can articulate an actual policy, specifically, a commonsense policy, rather than giggling all the time. None of this should be a surprise.

I agree with the writer on all points. Instead of constant hyperventilating-as-journalism, balanced reporting needs to be the norm.
