Can We Finally Just Call Them Voters?
You cannot label us misogynistic or racist because Kamala Harris lost her bid for the White House. It was not just white men who elected Donald Trump and rejected Harris’s bid to be the first Black woman to be elected President of the United States. America did not reject Kamala Harris because of her color or gender. America rejected her because she was not qualified to be President of the United States. Despite what all the polls told us about this being the closest election in our history. In the only poll that matters, Americans of every color, age, gender, or socioeconomic status rejected her message and gave Donald Trump a historic victory. Kamala Harris was a terrible candidate who chose an even worse running mate and delivered the win to Trump on a silver plate. She placed another nail in her political coffin with every appearance and speech. She stole the nomination from Joe Biden but could not steal the presidency from Donald Trump and the American voters.
For a country with two parties claiming to be unifiers, we are the most divided we have ever been. We preach that all men and women are equal regardless of skin color or accent, and then we put them into boxes so we can define the differences. The boxes get smaller and more plentiful as the labeling of individuals gets more specific. At a time when WOKE philosophy is developing, the labeling of individuals and groups can itself be construed as racist. Haven’t we come far enough that we can throw out the label and box and eliminate the terms White, Brown, Black, Spanish, Educated Women, and even Uneducated Women? How would you like to be tossed into the Uneducated Women box? This is the box that many in the White House and VP staff point to as the main reason Kamala Harris lost. These “experts” feel that these women are not astute enough to realize how important the abortion issue is and how it trumps the economy, crime, inflation, and the border. Can anything be more degrading and insulting?
This demographic practice allows political teams to hyper-focus their message, but this also creates the possibility of a confusing message if the candidates are not consistent. This happened many times with Harris and Walz. Between these inconsistencies and the ridiculous number of Harris flip-flops, nobody knew precisely who Kamala Harris was and what she stood for. I don’t think she knew herself. With the number of votes garnered by Trump from every sector of the voting public, this may be a good time to stop this labeling process. Trump talked to everybody because every facet of his message applied to everyone. He got 70 million votes from men, women, blacks, browns, young and old. He even got the Amish vote in Pennsylvania. That is how microscopic the experts get. Unfortunately, the voters made the experts look like fools. Maybe this is an excellent time to stop listening to the polls and legacy TV and wait until America fills in the circle next to their choice on the ballot. Maybe it is also a good time to stop feeding racism by ceasing to attach labels to everyone and just call us people or Americans.

Nothing perpetuates racism like talking about race.
