If Kamala Really Wanted Change, She Would Start Now

Presumed Democratic nominee for President Kamal Harris, who refuses to give interviews to answer specific questions, says at her rallies that she will fix the problems in the U.S. as soon as she is elected president.

Since she is essentially an incumbent, why doesn’t she start to fix the problems now?

Most polls show that the economy is the top priority for voters. The Biden-Harris administration says that they led the greatest economic recovery in history. Millions of jobs have been added, which kept the unemployment rate under 4% for the longest stretch in the last 50 years.

LOW ECONOMIC APPROVAL

Yet only 36% of Americans approve of the Biden-Harris economy. Why? Average prices for all goods and services increased more than 20% since January 2021 while household income has increased only slightly. That means that Americans in 2024 cannot afford to buy the same goods and services that they purchased in 2021.

That led to a decline in the standard of living, which is why so many Americans disapprove of the administration’s handling of the economy.

To fix this, inflation must fall to 2% or less, as it was during the prior administration. Biden-Harris has done absolutely nothing to reduce inflation. Instead, they relied on the Federal Reserve.

Harris says, if elected, she will fight to reduce inflation on day one. She does not, however, specifically say what she will do. Whatever that is, the question is: Why doesn’t she start right now? If she has concrete ideas to reduce inflation, she is essentially president now. So why doesn’t she act? Does she have a solution?

The next topic of concern to Americans is the immigration problem. Harris, aka the Border Czar, says she will act on day one to fix the border crisis.

Again, she is short on specifics, except to say that she will sign a broad immigration bill like the one that did not recently pass Congress. While she blames that failure in Congress on her presumed opponent, the reality is that the bill failed because it would have allowed 3,500 illegal immigrants into the U.S. on a daily basis.

Indeed, Border Czar Harris had control of the administration’s border policy since March 2021. Yet she failed to do anything about the problem, except to speak to some Central American countries and ask them to stop sending their people.

Why doesn’t she do something now? The obvious answer is that she does not know what to do.

THE WAY BACK

Her opponent, Donald Trump, says he knows what to do to solve the problems. While Harris tells her followers at the rallies that they should not vote for Trump because “We are not going back,” the reality is that most Americans want to go back.

By the end of the Trump Administration, the border was secure. Less than 300,000 illegals entered the US in 2020. Biden-Harris reversed Trump’s policies, and some estimates are that 11 million illegals have entered the country since February 2021.

Americans are also concerned about national security, where the Biden-Harris administration has been a gigantic failure. In January 2021, Afghanistan was not a problem as the 2,500 Americans stationed there created some stability, with no American loss of life. Russia did not invade Ukraine although they did during the Obama Administration.

The Middle East was without major conflict as the Abraham Accords were signed. Iran was on the verge of economic collapse and couldn’t fund any terrorist groups. North Korea stopped firing missiles. And China was being confronted.

The Biden-Harris administration shamefully retreated from Afghanistan and suffered American loss of life. Russia invaded Ukraine after the Biden-Harris Administration said publicly that a “minor incursion would be acceptable.” Biden-Harris also removed sanctions on Iran allowing it to sell tens of billions of dollars of oil, which was used to fund its proxies which led to war in the Middle East.

Biden-Harris did nothing to discourage North Korea. As a result, it has started firing missiles again.

As for China? China is not being forcefully confronted.

The reality is that the policies of Kamala Harris would continue the disastrous policies of the Biden-Harris administration. She will do nothing differently if she is elected.

And if she would do things differently, why doesn’t she start now?
