Creating New Conservatives: The Democrat and Kennedy Family’s Attacks on RFK, Jr.
The withdrawal of RFK. Jr. from the presidential race and his endorsement of former President Donald Trump was yet another extraordinary moment in an election that has been anything but predictable.
Only a year ago, it would have been unthinkable that a sitting president [Joe Biden] would be effectively forced off a ticket and replaced by a candidate who did not secure a single vote.
Now, the nephew of JFK and son of the RFK has withdrawn from the [race] and endorsed Republican nominee [Donald Trump].
Amidst all of the claimed “joy” of the Democratic National Convention, there is a sobering reality being ignored by the ecstatic press and pundits: this is how Democrats make Republicans.

You people are awful. Despite your family’s checkered past and horrible behavior of so many of the men, Americans have stood with you out of loyalty, sentimentality and often grief. Despite the questionable establishment of your family’s wealth, the treatment of Marilyn Monroe, the general womanizing, the abandonment of Mary Jo Kopechne to her death, allegations of rape, one could go on and on. [Y]our family has stayed loyal and protective of family members who have done the most appalling things. But the moment one of your own acts on his conscience for this country you … throw him to the wolves and publicly condemn him. Never a word for the trail of abused or abandoned women left behind by a Kennedy, but [when] one of your men supports Trump … to make the lives of Americans better, that alone is beyond the pale. In your ugly treatment of your brother, you reveal the rot that has broken the hearts of the American people so many times over the years. [T]he economic destruction of American families is something your [1.2 billion dollar] family would never truly understand. You [do not have to] worry about having enough gas to get to work, or whether you can afford eggs this week, [or] if you’ll be safe walking in your own neighborhood, or if your child will be safe in their urban public school or even if they will [learn] how to read and write.

I ask you [Meletus]: How about horses? Does one man do them harm and all the world good? Is not the exact opposite the truth? One man, … the trainer of horses, does them good, and others [not experts] injure them? Is not that true, … of other animals [as well]? Most assuredly it is; … Happy indeed would be [the] youth if they had one corrupter only [Socrates], and [everyone else] were their improvers. But you show that you never thought about the young: your carelessness is seen in … the [charges] you bring against me.
Socrates in Plato’s Apology
When RFK, Jr. of the iconic Democrat Party Kennedy family and his running mate Nicole Shanahan dropped out of the race because of Democrat Party sabotage of their campaign, the Democrat “News”-media Colluders were not amused. Astonishingly, the 1.2 billion-dollar Kennedy family, from the comfort and security of their mansions, criticized him, not privately, but publicly, for, allegedly, abandoning the family’s values, saying, “We want an America filled with hope and bound together by a shared vision of a brighter future, a future defined by individual freedom, economic promise and national pride. We believe in Harris and Walz.“
Unfortunately, it is easy to spout vague platitudes and soaring rhetoric but it takes no courage and doesn’t really mean anything. Perhaps the Kennedy family should be more specific.
Do the Kennedy family values support the Biden administration opening the southern border in violation of US immigration law allowing over 10 million unknown foreigners, including murderers and terrorists, into the country?
Do the Kennedy family values support the Biden administration’s record number of dead people, including many children, at the southern border in 2022 (853) as a result of the open the southern border?
Do the Kennedy family values support the Biden administration’s open southern border and allowing tons of fentanyl and other drugs into the country killing a hundred thousand Americans a year?
Do the Kennedy family values support the Biden administration repeatedly lying, sometimes under oath to congress, that the southern border is secure, when ordinary Americans can see illegal aliens pushing into the country nightly on the television screens?
Do the Kennedy family values support the Biden administration’s profligate spending that led to 40-year-high inflation that hits the poor the hardest?
Do the Kennedy family values support the Biden administration waging Stalin-like lawfare against their chief political opponent, Donald Trump, for the same things they have done, and done worse, while not indicting on their own wrongdoers?
Do the Kennedy family values support the Biden-Harris administration denying Secret Service protection to RFK, Jr and Nicole Shanahan, only granting it to him after Donald Trump is shot in the face?
Do the Kennedy family values support the Biden-Harris administration removing Secret Service protection from RFK, Jr and Nicole Shanahan after he dropped out of the race and supported Donald Trump (as if that means he is no longer in danger).
Do the Kennedy family values support the Biden administration rigging the Democrat Primary for Joe Biden “hobbling” RFK Jr’s primary challenge? Is that kind of rigging the Kennedy family values?
Do the Kennedy family values support the Biden administration’s coronation of Kamala Harris without her having won a single primary vote? Is that how the Kennedy family values “save our democracy”?
One could continue indefinitely but that should be sufficient at present.
The Kennedy family’s argument against RFK’s decision to drop out and support Trump is that virtually everybody else in the family disagrees with him. Socrates’ accusers in ancient Athens 2500 years ago used a similar argument against him. Socrates replied that it is not in general “the many” but rather “the one” (the individual with the relevant expertise) that has the knowledge to make right decisions. It is also implicit in Socrates’ argument that it is often the individual, not the average “many”, that has the courage needed to stand up to establishment corruption. RFK Jr., not the Kennedy family, is the one who acquired expertise about the situation by fighting the good fight in the arena, only to be unfairly sabotaged by the Biden-Harris administration. RFK Jr’s decision to support the much-maligned Trump, whether one agrees with it or not, took enormous courage. It takes no courage whatsoever for the filthy-rich Kennedy’s to sit in their mansions and complain about him. Further, they made no criticism of the Biden-Harris administration for sabotaging his campaign. Kennedy family Democrat machine values are apparently fine with that.
It has not apparently dawned on the Biden-Harris administration and the Kennedy family establishment that all this rancour could have, perhaps, easily been avoided if they had only treated RFK, Jr. fairly rather than, as is their wont these days, rigging everything. They royally mistreated him and yet it’s all his fault!
The moral is that the best way to make a Republican ally is to treat a Democrat the way Democrats treat Republicans.
