Does He Have What It Takes To Be President?
In his words, yes, he does!

“I care about where this country is headed, and want to do something about it. I don’t think government is or should be so far away that it is virtually unattainable for the average person. We have let others handle our government, but there is a time for Americans to stand up and that time is now.”

What He Says Makes A Good President
I would love to just quote the entire page that Mr. Davis has on his website on what makes a good president. Instead, I invite you to visit his website and read for yourself what he has to say.

However, there is one sentence on the page that jumped out at me that I have to include in this profile. In this day and age where racism and race issues is at the forefront of so many discussions, I believe this statement sums up the  issue of race in regards to the presidency. I am actually making it bold print as I feel this defines the essence of this great nation better than any statement I’ve ever seen or heard!
What color should he be? I know the answer to this one. It’s the great American color: red, white and blue.
Why Does He Want To Be President?
Mr. Davis seems to understand that most people will question why he would jump into a race like President of The United States of America. He says that the answer is the same as for a a young man who joins the military knowing he is putitng his life in danger and will possibly face death- because they are partiots who want to serve their country and to preserve our way of life and freedoms.
He says this is why he is here today, running for President of The United States of America. By the grace of God, he says, he will make a difference in preserving freedom.

Core Values
From John Davis’ official website:

Honor     Accountability     Integrity     Common Sense     Loyalty     Truth     Passion     Servanthood

Revive America
Mr. Davis says he is a soldier- not in a soldier fighting in a war, but a citizen fighting for the future of America. He says he feels that this nation is at odds with itself and we must revive America. He says he has much gratitude for the freedoms we have in this nation that people in other countries do not have.

Mr. Davis recognizes as most of us do that our current leadership is doing everything they can to diminish America’s greatness and freedom. He believes that we must hold our government and leaders to higher standards.

On The Issues
Mr. Davis presents his view of the issues in a “Contract To America”, stating

1. Balanced Budget
2. Term Limits
3. Upholding The Constitution of The United States
4. Common Sense Leadership
5. Less government
6. Our borders are not being protected! Border control/Work Visas/Citizenship for law abiding aliens

Mr. Davis recognizes that government spending is out of control and that there is no fiscal accountability. He wants to bring honor and integrity back to leadership where it is slipping away fast, and in many cases is already gone.

As a businessman himself, he sees that one of the mainstays of this country- our freedom of owning and running an honest, successsful business- is disappearing due to huge regulations and fees on businesses. With government salaries being twice what they are in the private sector he sees first hands the effects of this.

As a Christian he recognizes that our values and freedoms are being persecuted rather than preserved.

On The Constitution
John Davis sees how our current President has total disregard for The Constitution of The United States of America– our governing document- and pushes through bills tith no regard for many elected officials and going completely against the will of the majority of We The People.

He sees how the judges around this nation are legislating from the bench, using their personal thoughts, feelings and opinions rather than our Constitution to make their decisions.

The Danger
Quoting from Mr. Davis’ website about what he sees the danger of this country being:

The danger is in the people giving up on their country and leaving their future to others, and giving up surrendering their common sense and good judgment because they think their voices can’t be heard. Feeling marginalized and unable to participate in the democratic process is detrimental to America’s success. Our country has survived many faulty leaders, but we cannot continue to go to the voting booth and check the box for the lesser of the two evils.
