President-Elect Trump

Donald Trump soundly defeated his democrat party opponent on Tuesday night as Americans chose the next leader of the greatest nation in the world.

An unconventional campaign, led by a non-political candidate with no big money support, no big data operation, no main party support – just raised the one-finger salute to the elitist globalists that have been ruining America for a generation.

As pundits cease talking about if Trump could win, they can’t seem to put their finger on how he won.

But… it isn’t about how – it’s about why.

Trump spent time in states like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania even though the GOP questioned his strategy. Republicans don’t spend time in blue states talking to working-class people. Then again, neither do democrats.

So WHY did Trump win?

Trump was able to understand a few key things that politicians have missed for decades:

  • Working class families don’t need more “free” stuff – free has become too expensive. Obamacare has pulled several hundred dollars per month from middle-class family budgets. While that’s not a lot of money to Obama or Clinton, it is life-changing to the rest of America
  • Working class Americans have seen their jobs pushed out of existence or overseas by government over-regulation or executive order
  • Globalist, elitist trade deals have pushed manufacturing to other countries and made America uncompetitive
  • Americans don’t feel safe anymore. Laws aren’t enforced, borders are unsecured and gang violence is killing young Hispanic and Black men in huge numbers – democrats aren’t doing anything other than pandering

Hillary Clinton was unable to understand .. any of those things.

  • Clinton pandered to Black voters by parading Jay-Z and Beyonce while talking about the “hot sauce” in her purse – they saw right through that crap
  • Hillary told America that she was going to put coal miners out of business and those hard-working Americans … believed her
  • Hillary promised to not only safeguard Obamacare but enhance it and Americans believed her

Some point at the email scandal or Benghazi or whatever – but they are wrong. While those things should be significant when considering a Presidential candidate – moms and dads had bigger issues.

Donald Trump did the bread-and-butter thing better than Democrats.

Is he for real? We won’t know for awhile, but as the first Republican president in almost a century to start his term with a friendly congress, it is well within his reach to accomplish just about anything.

Will Trump do all those things he promised? As a voter, I will hold him to every – single – promise. He said those things to get Americans to vote for him and CDN will measure him against his pledges.

For now, congratulations President-elect Donald J. Trump. Now, get to work.

  1. How? It’s called PRAYER POWER ! We’ve been given a second chance to right wrongs and again be a beacon of light and hope the world around.
All will not be accomplished overnight or even in the first 100 days….the road to recovery will be long and to many painful. There are those with ‘hate’ and when it’s gone often pain and sorrow is what fills the gap.

Trump alone can’t dot it all. While he does have the majority in both houses our own responsibility and work needs to continue and hold the feet of our Senators and Representatives to the fire.

Jubilation & joy in the air for a change….let’s enjoy and not forget how it got here
