President Biden delivers a speech Wednesday afternoon in which he will push labor unions and massive government spending as the cure to all the economy’s ills. Unfortunately, unions are likely to cause a nationwide supply chain disaster this month when they shut down the nation’s railroads. Also, the infrastructure Act will do nothing to alleviate sky-high energy prices and a critical diesel fuel shortage.
Many Tennesseans rely on diesel to make a living — from farmers to truckers.
The looming diesel crisis will have a ripple effect on our supply chains and the cost of goods.
