Investigators believe they have gathered enough evidence to charge President Biden’s son, Hunter, with multiple felonies, according to a Washington Post report.
People familiar with the case said that the evidence gathered was enough to charge Hunter with tax crimes relating to his overseas and domestic business dealings and a false statement relating to a gun purchase.
Hunter has been under investigation since December 2020 when the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware informed him that they were looking into his taxes.
The tax charges and the gun-related charges will go to U.S. Attorney David Weiss to decide if a criminal indictment should be pursued.
