National Guard Arrives in Port Aransas after Harvey
A video shows the quick arrival of National Guard troops immediately after Harvey had moved off. The quick deployment will add badly needed manpower, water, food and other necessities just as they are needed.

Later in the day, the Texas National Guard used their helicopters to rescue some stranded Texans.
