California Democrat Files Article of Impeachment Against President Trump
One of the loonier whack jobs in the Democrat minority in the House of Representatives introduced an article of impeachment against President Donald Trump over his firing of FBI Director James Comey.
The culprit was the pride of California’s 30th Congressional District Brad Sherman, the same rabble rouser who fired up radical leftists during a Los Angeles impeachment rally over the Fourth of July weekend and spent time commiserating with sore loser Democrats in the Empathy Tent.
According to The Hill, Sherman introduced the measure and will soon be joined by Maxine Waters and the rest of the totalitarian leftist weirdos from the state that Hillary Clinton won by over 4 million votes.

Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) formally introduced an article of impeachment against President Trump on Wednesday that accuses the president of obstructing justice during the federal investigation of Russia’s 2016 election interference.
Sherman’s official move to impeach the president comes despite concern among Democrats that taking such aggressive action against Trump will create backlash against the party.
Sherman argues that Trump’s abrupt firing of James Comey as FBI director in May amounts to obstructing justice amid the probes of whether Trump’s campaign colluded with the Russian government to swing the election.
It cites Comey’s allegations that Trump pressured him to drop the FBI’s investigation into ousted former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn, as well as Trump’s shifting story on why he fired Comey.
“In all of this, Donald John Trump has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as president and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States. Wherefore, Donald John Trump, by such conduct, warrants impeachment and trial, and removal from office,” the article of impeachment states.
Sherman’s article is unlikely to succeed in the GOP-controlled House.
The California Democrat said that he hoped introducing an article of impeachment would serve as a warning to the Trump White House and establish a legislative vehicle in the unlikely event Republicans endorse forcing Trump out of office.
Sherman is one of the reformed Comey haters who have come to view the slippery gamesman as akin to a saint after Trump fired him – vintage liberal hypocrisy.
Congressman Sherman claims that his actions are not politically motivated.
Some strategists have warned of the Democrat obsession with Russian conspiracy theories as well as talk of impeachment and predicted that it could very well backfire in next year’s midterm elections.
One thing that the Democrats and their stooges in the media forget – there were 63 million Americans who did vote for Trump last year and they may not take kindly to the ongoing efforts by the left to effectively disenfranchise them.
Sherman is a gooney bird but he’s far from the only one in the flock.
