A recent article on AOL cited an article by the Washington Post that claimed Trump has made 13,000 misinformed statements since he has been in office. First of all I find that highly unbelievable. Considering it comes from the Washington Post who along with the NY Times and other major newspapers are so biased and anti-Trump that it is laughable. These are the same people who for two years found Trump guilty without the presumption of innocence in what turned out to be a big hoax. This proves Denzel’s statement above is true. If you read the newspapers you are misinformed. To counter the Washington Post’s claim I read another article that cited 50 major headlines from the New York Times, Washington Post and other major news sources that were totally false and made up about Trump. Is it any wonder they are referred to as the Washington Compost and New York Slimes?
As a retired newspaper reporter myself, I do a lot of deep research before printing any article. Ever since Bill Clinton, I have followed every president with a fine tooth comb and examine everything they say and do. I am willing to bet I know more about most of the presidents than the people who cover them. These media sources today are so biased and their minds are so clouded with hate and rage for Trump that hey can’t see the truth if it hit them in the face.
Since the article didn’t cite any particular statement Trump made that was misinforming I can only guess. I watch every rally Trump has and watch every speech he makes and would know if he is misinforming about something. If it is his statement about unemployment then all they have to do is check with the Bureau of Labor Statistics and they will see that unemployment is 3.8% like he said down from 4.5% under Obama and it is the lowest unemployment rate for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Women and youth in history and that 6 million new jobs have been created. Under Obama, 13 million more people were on food stamps and 8 million more were in poverty. That is all changing under Trump.
The same can be said for taxes. If they would just look up the tax rates like I did they would see that Trump lowered the Big Business tax rate from 35% to 21% and the small business tax from 21% to 15% and doubled the standard tax deduction for singles and couples. These rates all cause companies to come back here and build and hire here instead of overseas. Hillary planned to raise those taxes and many more also which would have been a disaster for this country. These are things Trump speaks about at his rallies.
I can go on and on, but I would like to know what they consider as being misinformed statements and what their sources are. As Bill Clinton said when he was caught in a lie, “I didn’t lie I misspoke.” And the media said, ”ok” and went about their trashing republicans.
I’m not saying Trump is lying or embellishing the truth here and there, but 13,000 seems a bit extreme to me. After all, these are the people who were exonerating Hillary before she was investigated and tried to frame Donald Trump just as Greg Jarret’s book says. These are the people who didn’t cover Trump freeing 20 of our hostages without paying a cent, unlike Obama who paid 1.8 billion to free the Iranian hostages and gave the No. 1 state sponsor of terrorism 150 billion of our taxpayer dollars.
In his column on Sunday New York Post reporter Michael Goodwin recants about how Hilary still can’t accept her loss and how she and Biden accuse trump of betraying America when it was she who is the betrayer. Yet two and a half years later, Clinton is still casting doubt on the election. Just last week, she did it again and continues to accuse the president of betraying America.
“Our election was corrupted, our democracy assaulted, our sovereignty and security violated,” she wrote in the Washington Post. Invoking Watergate, she said the Mueller report “documents a serious crime against the American people” and demanded that Trump be punished, lest he “redouble his efforts to advance Putin’s agenda.”
So Clinton has been consistent, but her argument has not aged well, to put it kindly. It turns out that while some Russian agents did try to sow discord and help Trump, she worked with other Russians to compile her phony dossier on him. Her team gave it to the FBI, which used it as an excuse to spy on Trump.
So his suspicions about the election were well founded. It was rigged against him.
Which brings us back to the Big Lie about Trump being a “threat to our democracy.”
Clinton and other Dems continue to peddle it because it is their last defense against the emerging truth.
In fact, some people did try to destroy our democracy and change our nation’s character. They are still trying to cover up their crimes.
None is named Donald Trump.
