The Milley Story’s Moral: Government Corruption May Be Most Evident Within Our Armed Forces

The Blue State Conservative

Our illusions about our government have been destroyed

The armed forces are our original bureaucracy and a mirror of our society.  After the recent exposure of the treason of our armed forces Joint Chiefs of Staff, it became apparent that our knowledge of the current Department of Defense is quite limited.  It is obviously a total quagmire of waste, fraud, and corruption that is designed to support itself rather than the soldier or sailor in the field or on the sea, perceptions to the contrary.

There are approximately 1.3 million active duty personnel in all branches of service.  There are over 600,000 civilians receiving checks at the Department of Defense.  That means it requires one person shuffling paper for two people carrying a rifle. Their job is to pick up a stack of paper and pile it on the other side of their desk occasionally.

We ordinary citizens are too far removed from the day-to-day operations to realize how far things have strayed in our illusions of our country.  We’ve often heard over the years from aspiring politicians “we need to add funding to our military.  The Russians, Terrorists, or Chinese are going to take over the world.”

A better idea would be to eliminate 500,000 clerks.  Imagine the savings if we reduced the DOD down to 100,000 paper pile-its.  Also, our entire armed forces and foreign policy model needs reassessing as it was designed by these self-serving bureaucrats.  It was built for a different time and is woefully out of date.  It is more attuned to killing trees for paper mills than ensuring our enemies do not harm us.

The first concern of Milley and his playmates is, of course, their rank and private sector employment opportunities.  The performance of the weapons systems that are purchased under their supervision are of secondary importance. Only the check waiting for them upon retirement by the weapons manufacturer is relevant.

Mediocrity and bureaucracy are the result of too much money and the plutocrats’ legalized corruption.  Being an apparatchik requires no thought or improvement in the alleged work being accomplished.  This is true in all departments of our government.  The use of previous programs as a measuring stick precludes the need for analysis and innovation.  There are many programs today that have a history of waste and incompetence extending backward into WW2.

There is an annual 60% turnover rate in our army, a number which is truly shocking.  Surveys indicate that the recruit is looking for GI Bill benefits after his time is up. Up until Milley these fine young people felt they were doing a service for their fellows and being compensated for it.  Now the traitorous behavior of the military leadership casts doubt on keeping our recruiting numbers at an appropriate level because shame is felt at all levels of the organization and the disillusionment has permeated the street.

Nobody wanting to join the army had ever dreamed about dealing with Critical Race Theory, transgender nonsense, or the thought of reducing physical requirements to allow girls to play. Now all these programs have been decreed by Milley.  At least the recent Army retirees arriving at college will have already been indoctrinated when they arrive at school, thus relieving strain on the diversity office hirelings.

Lastly, these newly arrived college students may recognize some of the professors at their college since many are members of the Chinese-funded Confucius Institute.  These Chinese spies are probably friends of Milley and his fellows on the joint chiefs. Now, everyone can enjoy cocktails and egg rolls.  All will spend a great deal of time forwarding stolen information to Peking as they have since Dollar Bill Clinton.

These treacherous bureaucrats want a large check and little work while our young people have dreams and the desire to sacrifice to fulfill them.
