David Rockefeller: On the Verge of a Global Transformation, We Need the Right Major Crisis

Interesting times we are experiencing. Somewhat like looking through a child’s kaleidoscope, subtle turns make a different picture, and different people see what they want, as has always been the case.

I’m an advocate for open discussion, always better than hidden agendas. This is why I appreciate a quote from David Rockefeller that openly reveals the goals of the elites.

In 1994, Rockefeller was quoted at a U.N. dinner as saying, “We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis, and the nations will accept the New World Order.”

David Rockefeller wrote in his 2002 memoirs: “Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

Comfort and security are always intertwined. Citizens build “their assets” but want security when uncertainty comes and they look for the government to provide that security. Now the emperor has no clothes, and some of the citizenries are even more desperate than ever to lay down on the floor prostrate for the government to provide that security.

They want to make this as painful as possible because it’s only through pain, hunger, and fear that people will be stupid enough to give up their rights in exchange for security, food, and relief. Those that understand that this is a power grab will not be willing to turn over their rights at all. Those that don’t understand what is happening will just be looking for someone to fix the problem and make it go away. Keeping these different groups separated gives them a greater chance at success, which is part of the reason they don’t want people to gather and talk.

I wouldn’t be so quick to blame the voters. I doubt there have been many fair elections in the past couple of decades. Ideas and discussions, mature debates and opposing ideas rigorously examined, the soapbox, the ballot box or the cartridge box. Slowly the change in society draws the population to pick the one that serves them the best. Hidden agendas, market movements, the hidden hand of the institutions or governments, black swans, white helmets, and all the colors in-between.

I have seen the rise of identity politics, separating society by income, Gini variabilities, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, environment, politics, and country – just to name a few. It would seem the more connected the global society can and is, the more the differences are brought to light, and the spotlight shines on those differences. Underlying the human need to preserve, survive, and attain assets in whatever useful shape of form that may be.

China has shown itself to be a very poor global citizen in this. No level of modernization of their country, be it glass-fronted skyscrapers or ill-gotten technology transfer, will change the global perception of China now. China has shown that it doesn’t understand or care to understand the western values of developed societies. Fast forward, you will see an economic distancing from China as the world recovers that will slowly be definitely reorientating supply lines and trade. This was avoidable. However, China just didn’t care to understand. This will impact China very significantly over the next few years and permanently moving forward as a pariah is ostracised. The major economies will reorientate progressively using terms like sovereign or country security – all avoiding the word nationalism. Trump’s agenda will slowly roll out in many different guises by different countries. The E.U. will be hard-pressed to maintain a structure, with cracks being leveraged open under emergency guideline measures.

Trump very well may be re-elected. The socialist have overplayed their hand. They were using the media leverage to political advantage. However, I see they overplayed their biased views. During crisis times, a somewhat competent government will be re-elected when the choice is unpalatable. Knowing the choice is unpalatable is the key. Churchill failed to demonstrate this in the general election following the end of World War Two when he lost government. Trump has time to quickly revitalize the economy – strongly promoting “made in the USA”  at every rally in October. The crowd will be deafening. China will have been shown to have lied, misinformed, and the form of government unpalatable to the U.S. citizens’ ideals.

Australia will use this to reinstate sovereign (national employment of important industries) and pivot away from China. Words of commitment and bipartisan goals will be uttered – but they will be for inter-government consumption. The people of Australia have already spoken, quite loudly and it will get very loud and screaming in 3 to 6 months. As the government indicated a 6-month plan of isolation and no foreign travelers without 14-day isolation (no exceptions). As a country, Australia has been very welcoming, but other countries have not been respectful of this position. The ground-swell has already stater to rise, and it will never be the same.

If there is a global agenda, Coronavirus was the undoing of it, a vaccine may come out, and people will be required to be screened and medicated before travel restrictions are lifted. Distrust and fear of the unknown is a powerful tool. However, it is time dependant. The world is not going to look the same, and it will reposition trade ties. People’s movement and some freedoms will be restricted. It makes me sad as my daughter is on the other side of the world with a fantastic future. To see her now, we require approval to travel – and quarantine on return, as my wife is this very night starting the first of two 14 day isolations, in a hotel room, not allowed to go out of the room for 14 days.

As this becomes the reality of travel and no interstate travel due to isolation, image the pressure and feeling of the population, just imagine that. Stay at home, 1.5-metre social-distancing, limitations on the number of people in supermarkets and isles, don’t go out – fines, no restaurants, venues, any public gatherings at all! For 3 to 6 months. And the government is saying six months.

Good luck getting anyone to listen to Chinese propaganda or signing up to a Marxist ideology. My concern is the capacity to turn very nasty and violent towards different groups. Millions of people’s jobs and economic futures have been lost, property lost, families children’s futures disrupted.  What could go wrong? … lots.
