The dipstick analogy is very appropriate. Biden’s apparent willingness to shut off the Russian oil tap is to deflect from his commitment to Green New Deal, which allows him to refuse to tap into copious natural reservoirs of petroleum products. His commitment to the greenies keeps him in harmony with the radicals in the Democratic Party, which is all that matters to this old man. Party harmony is much preferred over credible policy. Policies favorable to the green lobby are only credible to green weenies. Credibility to America’s majority requires greater exertion.
