Joe Biden’s current cognitive decline is evident to anyone paying attention, and considering the level of power that he commands, the degree to which he is deteriorating is unnerving. Additionally, it’s been clear for years that he was never going to be invited to address a convention of Mensa members. President Biden is not very bright, and never was. But what if Sleepy Joe is clairvoyant? Would that change our opinion of him?
Consider the following video as evidence as Joe Biden’s psychic abilities. He’s at least as accurate as Nostradamus was on his best day:
While speaking at what appears to be a campaign event for his 2008 failed presidential campaign, prior to being named as Barack Obama’s vice-presidential running mate, Biden stated, “I’m president of the United States, I issue an order. End the war today, begin to withdraw all American troops. It will take a year to get the American troops out.”
If we add the word ‘effectively’ to the end of that statement, Joe Biden was spot-on. And if Biden had heeded that accidental wisdom last summer in Afghanistan, chances are that country wouldn’t be in complete turmoil right now and thirteen Americans would still be alive today.
But Biden’s intuitive abilities were just getting started at that point in his lecture. He went on to add this item, which is almost eerie in its accuracy: “If you leave all the equipment behind, you might be able to do it seven months. And you leave those billions of dollars of weapons behind, I promise, they’re going to be used against your grandchild and mine someday.”
Right, you are Mr. President! Or should we say, right you were.
For bloviating politicians like Mr. Biden and so many others – including several Republicans – today’s technology, particularly social media, is a menace. Decades-old diatribes they have completely forgotten about, and of which they are counting that you have forgotten as well, come back to haunt them. Such is the case with this video.
But let us at least give credit where credit is due: Joe Biden displayed impressive adeptness at prophecy during his typically verbose sermon fourteen years ago. Let’s hope the next time he hits the mark as a fortune-teller he’ll be smart enough to recognize it.
