Stop Blaming Joe, It’s Joe’s Fault

The Democrat Party, especially The Squad, turned on Joe Manchin with a vengeance. On Sunday, Joe Manchin, the Democrat Senator from West Virginia, finally proclaimed that he is a NO vote on the Build Back Better Bill. This declaration ends weeks of speculation, debate, and pressure between Joe Biden and Joe Manchin in a desperate effort to secure support from Manchin and save the most critical initiative for Biden. For weeks, people and the media kept saying that it was about the price tag of the bill for Manchin. In the end, it came down to philosophy. Manchin believes the bill goes too far to transform the country. His beliefs and intentions do not sit well with others on his side of the aisle. Maybe he needs to look to the other side for a better seat where he will be welcomed.

Bernie Sanders, Ayanna Pressley, and Ilhan Omar wasted no time going to the air on any station that would give them a microphone to shout that Manchin had betrayed their trust. Some might take this as a badge of honor. Manchin does not owe his allegiance to the Squad but his constituents of Kentucky. To vote YES on BBB would have defied the trust and welfare of the good people of West Virginia. Joe Manchin just gave them, and America, a wonderful present for Christmas.

I think it is particularly rich for Ilhan Omar, the woman who hates America, married her brother, defrauded the immigration service, and cheated on her taxes to talk about anyone breaking their trust and integrity. It is no wonder that mainstream media continues to align themselves with Omar. They are cut from the same mold.

I am not saying that Joe Manchin is a saint for his decision. The Build Back Better Bill is the death of fossil fuels that are crucial to West Virginia’s future. Joe Manchin’s family has made and continues to make their fortune on the fossil fuel industry of West Virginia. AOC claimed that Manchin bent his knee to special interests when he refused to bend a knee to his party. This is precisely what members of Congress should do when they disagree with legislation. AOC also went on to show his ignorance of the facts when she said on MSNBC that this shows the need to do away with the Filibuster. The Filibuster had already been taken out of play on BBB. The Democrats did not need 60 votes and could not even find 50 so Kamala Harris could cast the deciding vote. Nobody ever corrects her when she makes these obvious false or inaccurate statements.

Democrats may come to thank Joe Manchin for saving them from themselves. This bill would have transformed America but blown the lid off the national debt, caused a faster rise in inflation, and destroyed our fossil fuel industry when the green energy sector is not prepared to step-up.

The Democrats blame Joe Manchin for their failure to get Build Back Better passed. If they need to assign blame, the target should be President Joe Biden. Biden has failed the Democrats and America. 2021 will be remembered in the history books as the worst first year of any presidency. America deserves better than Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the Progressives see America. The approval ratings prove this, and so will the votes in November of 2022.
