Donald Trump pulled off one of the biggest upsets in American political history when he toppled Hillary Clinton in the U.S. presidential election on Tuesday. It was the most unique, divisive and rhetoric driven, tightest race in history. Hillary got the popular vote with 59 million while Trump got 58 million, but he won the electoral vote with 279 votes to her 218 which is what really counts. Republicans also retained the house and senate.
This is a repudiation to Obama’s legacy and repudiation of politics as usual and a good shot in the arm for America to wake up!!!!.Under Obama 95 million people are out of the workforce, an additional 8 million are in poverty, it has been the worst recovery in 40 years, 50 million on welfare, 45 million on food stamps, home ownership has been the lowest it has ever been, 1 in 5 families don’t have a single person working and he has taken on more debt than all previous presidents combined. Black people thought they would do better under Obama and things got worse for them. Now it is time for Trump to drain the swamp as he and his followers say.
Hillary and Obama presided over the demise of the democratic party. This is what you get with “hope and change.” Seventy percent of the American people said the country was on the wrong track and wanted change. They wanted someone from the outside who was a business person to run the country like a business. Trump is that man. When he builds a building he always finished under budget and under schedule. A politician talks the talk, but a businessman gets things done.
It has been quite a journey for Trump since he first started. At first they said he would never get past the caucuses. He did. Then they said he wouldn’t get past the primaries. He did. Then they said he would never make it to the convention. He did. Then they said he would never get the nomination. He did. Then they said he wouldn’t get the presidency. He did. Trump said he never likes to lose and he will always fight for us and I believe he will because that’s the kind of person he is.
I liked how he was humble in his reception speech and particularly how he praised the secret service as opposed to Hilary constantly berating them with her “F” bombs driving them to drinking and drugs.
In their concession speeches first Tim kaine came out and addressed the crowd. Kaine said how Hillary loves the country and its’ people and worked hard for them. If she truly loved her country she wouldn’t advocate for open borders, she wouldn’t advocate for a 550% increase in Syrians, she wouldn’t call Trump followers deplorable and wouldn’t have a corrupt Clinton Foundation that launders millions of dollars thru Canada to line their pockets.
Following kaine Hillary came out and gave a gracious and teary speech saying this has been one of the greatest moments in her life and we must follow the rule of law and how she believes in America. If she believed in the rule of law she wouldn’t put herself above the law and break every law in the book. She said she was for freedom of expression and worship and quoted from the bible. I thought this was all in contrast to everything she’s previously done and stated, but it’s what he people want to hear.
She spoke about having a fairer and stronger America. Don’t worry Hillary under President Trump we will.
After Hillary, Obama spoke from the white house and gave a similar speech saying how the country needs unity yet he has been the most divisive president ever. He said Hillary couldn’t have been a better Sec. of State. Whaaaat???? Everything she touched turned to a disaster from Iraq, Iran, Benghazi, Syria and the Russian reset among others. Having an unsecured private server enabled five countries to hack into her and steal our secrets. Obama said he was heartened by Trump’s speech and will meet with him tomorrow.
