President Trump doubles down on his threat to close the Mexican border, urges Congress to fund the border wall. “There’s been uncontrolled immigration into the United States for a very long time,” Baker told Fox News Shannon Bream Monday. “There are too many illegal immigrants in this country and that problem needs to be addressed.”
“The president, I think, is using this opportunity, of what is a genuine, on the ground attempt by a bunch of people to break the law and get in, to make the point that the United States needs to do a much better job of enforcing its border,” he added.
