Wut? CDC Tells Labs to Abandon Current COVID Test Because it’s not Good at Differentiating Between the Flu and Coronavirus

You can’t make this stuff up.

After more than a year of pummeling the American public with “positive rates”, “positive cases”, and “upticks in COVID cases”, the CDC admitted last week that the PCR test used to detect these ‘positives’ isn’t very good at telling the difference between the seasonal flu and COVID-19 or other SARS varients.

In a “lab alert” published Wednesday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention informed healthcare labs that they should abandon the Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel and find something else that can actually tell the difference between influenza and COVID-19 (emphasis added):

CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses. Such assays can facilitate continued testing for both influenza and SARS-CoV-2 and can save both time and resources as we head into influenza season.

Analysts, physicians, and epidemiologists attempted to alert the public that the deaths attributed to COVID-19 were statistically flawed.

Manufacturer inserts furnished with PCR test products include disclaimers stating that the PCR tests should NOT be used to diagnose COVID-19

Some blamed the monetary incentive thinking that hospitals and labs might get a little something extra for a COVID diagnosis.

Others felt the media and its hunger for tragedy was magnifying the numbers.

But, ultimately, it was the test itself that artificially inflated Coronavirus numbers. Those incredible statistics led to lockdowns, mask mandates, travel restrictions, and an economic downturn that many are still struggling to survive.

The test was originally approved in February of 2020 under an emergency use authorization (EUA) by then-Secretary of Health and Human Service Alex Azar despite the fact that the inventor of the test and the test’s makers all say that the test should not be used to diagnose … anything.

“Manufacturer inserts furnished with PCR test products include disclaimers stating that the PCR tests should NOT be used to diagnose COVID-19. This is consistent with the warning issued by the Nobel Prize-winning inventor of the PCR test that such tests are not appropriate for diagnosing disease,” a lawsuit against the existing EUA states.

It is unknown why the CDC waited more than a year to determine that the real-time PCR test was creating so many false positives for COVID.

Correction: An earlier version of this article said that the test was originally approved after Biden’s inauguration. It has since been corrected.

  1. Wow…This is what the medical professionals have been saying since the beginning!!!! Every time any one of us tried to go public with the truth we were shut down and messaged removed from social media. The WHO, CDC, and Fauchi should be held responsible for their misinformation causing widespread PANIC !!!!!!!!!!

  2. This article says “The test was originally approved in February of 2020, just after Biden’s inauguration.”, but Joe was inaugurated in 2021. Time flies!

  3. In Feb of 2020, I screamed at the top of my lungs “STOP TESTING” and this thing will go away.
    How many businesses lost???
    How many futures destroyed?
    How many children damaged?
How many died just from the shutdown itself?
Scum of the Earth is what they are.
    Media.
    Pharma.
    CDC/NIH/WHO.
    Big Tech.
    Big Government.
Each and every one of these bastards need to be held accountable.

  4. Actually, I believe this “revelation” is because George Soros and Bill Gates just bought up a Covid test company. What better way to get them more business than to get rid of the competition?

  5. The purpose is to test for both SARS-CoV-2 and influenza in one test. You made an incorrect assumption that the current RT-PCR is not already specific for coronavirus.

“NAATs are high-sensitivity, high-specificity tests for diagnosing SARS-CoV-2 infection. NAATs detect one or more viral ribonucleic acid (RNA) genes and indicate a current infection or a recent infection but, due to prolonged viral RNA detection, are not always direct evidence for the presence of virus capable of replicating or of being transmitted to others.”

  6. So they decide this instead of listening to the guy who invented PCR tests, Kary Mullis, when he said that they should never be used to determine viral a load?
Unfortunately, or coincidentally, he died two months before the declaration of the pandemic.
