America’s Future: A Return to Self-Government or Collapse into Total Darkness

For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For every man shall bear his own burden.”—Galatians 6:3-5.

America will never be the same after the COVID-19 tyranny began in March of 2020. The question is, will the current trajectory towards complete command-and-control authoritarianism continue or will Americans wake up and demand a return to self-government?

The beginning of the end of the American Republic began over a century ago with the creation of the income tax, the welfare state, the entitlement state, etc. However, it was still surprising to see how easily it was for the government to proclaim who was “essential” and “nonessential” while claiming the ability to save lives if we just submit to their dictates. Such outrageous arrogance should have been shot down by the people from the start, but instead, we got passive submission.

Last week, I wrote about the Worldwide Rally for Freedom which showed millions around the world demanding their liberty, but America was absent. These people understand liberty. Organizers noted that even if COVID-19 posed the dangerous threat, which is most definitely does not nor ever has, that governments and their propagandists in the media said it was, they didn’t have authority to take their freedom away.

Although Americans did not take part in that worldwide rally, it is only right to highlight American patriots who are trying to write the playbook for returning our country to self-government.

This coming weekend, Occupy Peace and Freedom will hold a Freedom, Peace and Justice Rally on Saturday, May 29 in Kingston, New York. It will start at 3 p.m. at the Crown Garden off of Crown St. and John St., the only American intersection where all four corner buildings were built before the Revolutionary War.

Occupy Peace & Freedom is a not-for-profit movement to honor the Constitution and Bill of Rights, which are being continually violated by politicians who take us to war and rob us of our Freedoms to fulfill their agendas,” said Gerald Celente, the group’s founder and publisher of the Trends Journal. More than just a movement, we have an Action Plan that will bring Peace, Freedom, and Prosperity.”

In Idaho, liberty activist Ammon Bundy helped found the People’s Rights movement.

Historically, you cannot successfully defend your rights, nor your neighbor’s rights, if you STAND ALONE…. You must unite with your neighbors, organize yourselves and prepare for WHEN those that believe they have the right to take control of your property, your children, even your body, come to force their will upon you,” the website states.

The website adds: “Let’s face it, our governmental systems of defense are deteriorating quickly! Government officials, more and more, are becoming the type of people we must defend ourselves from. As people in government deteriorate our traditional defense systems, you and your family become less and less secure from all types of criminals. Government criminals and street criminals. We must not be left defenseless!

These are just a couple of the movements I know about, and certainly, there must be more out there. Both of those movements highlight the need for Americans to stand up to fight for their rights and to stop relying on the political class.

Author Allan Stevo provided a guide for avoiding mask tyranny at stores. Although his guide focused on masks, his words apply to all of the liberties we’ve lost.

In our society, non-lawyers are effectively second-class citizens,” Stevo wrote. What makes lawyers so effective is not just their ability to go into court and fight, nor their ability to use the word lawyer next to their name on a letter, it is their ability to sway another’s opinion by making arguments backed up with a little assertiveness.

Stevo added: “That is on-the-job training many lawyers receive. But it is the birthright of many more of us. An opportunity of the world post-2020 is that we can be reminded that we can train ourselves to be just as assertive, just as effective, as any lawyer.

You are not a second-class citizen if you will make that so. Your freedom is yours for the taking if you will just reach out and grab it,” Stevo concluded.

The fact is, the answer to the question of what the American future will look like is up to us. Will we continue to submit to the false authorities in government and listen to the so-called “experts,” or will we assert ourselves and demand our rights not be violated? It is our responsibility to create a society built on God’s principles. We can continue to complain about the “radical Democrats” all we want, but we are all to blame for the loss of liberty over the last year.

It is our responsibility to stand up with our fellow Americans to demand our freedom. As Benjamin Franklin said: “We must, indeed, all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.
