Eliot Spitzer’s New Show on CNN

CNN’s vaunted latest attempt at a “news” show, Parker-Spitzer was laid to rest on the scrapheap of  failed Liberal hype and misinformation shows last week, where it certainly belongs. The true reasons behind the canceling of the show appear to be murky at best so far. One thing that does remain a constant over at CNN,  is the fact that they do not seem to be capable of learning from their mistakes. This show was a nightmare waiting to happen before it ever aired a single episode. Meet Eliot Spitzer former co-host of Parker Spitzer, pictured here with his private hooker from New York.

Mr. Spitzer is the former Governor of NYC who was caught up in a prostitution scandal with the young lady pictured with him here,  Ashley Dupre’  aka “Kristen” who worked for The Emporer’s Club VIP escort service.  Spitzer was caught due to IRS reporting laws that make it mandatory to report all transactions over 10 grand. He later tried to break the payments to the offshore shell corporations up into smaller amounts, but was told it was too late to cover his tracks. He also tried to get his name taken off the accounts to also try to cover his tracks, but was told that it wasn’t possible. It was reported that Spitzer had several laisons with prostitutes during this time, paying over $15,000 dollars to the escort service, yet investigators revealed that he had  paid over $80,000 over a period of several years for escorts going back to when he was first the attorney general of N.Y.

Governor Spitzer tried to dismiss the situation early to avoid any further scrutiny by calling a press conference on March 12th amid rumors of impeachment proceedings, to announce his resignation. Of note here is the fact that not a single N.Y.Democrat had the guts to speak up and demand this man’s resignation at the time. Those demands came from State Republican Minority Leader James Tedisco and U.S Congressman Steve King of N.Y.  I believe that in their constant quest for ruling powers, the Democratic Party had hoped to sweep this episode under the rug here, and let this man stay in office. If not, why didn’t they demand he resign? Another reason for my assumption there, is one other fact about the power structure of the Democratis Party being affected by this scandal, as discovered in this situation**:

By resigning as governor, Spitzer lost his status as a superdelegate in the 2008 Democratic nomination for president, depriving Hillary Clinton, whom he supported, of a superdelegate vote. This also reduced the total number of superdelegate votes available. Though David Paterson, the Lieutenant Governor of New York at the time and Spitzer’s eventual successor, is also a Democrat and a supporter of the Clinton campaign, Paterson already had a super delegate vote because of his status as a member in the Democratic National Committee and cannot vote twice.[48] Spitzer discussed his status as a superdelegate on The Colbert Report on February 12, 2008, the day before Spitzer met his escort at the Mayflower Hotel.[49]

Kristin M. Davis, a competing madam who was involved in the scandal, served four months of jail time on Rikers Island as a result of the scandal, and later announced a run for Spitzer’s old seat in the New York gubernatorial election, 2010. Davis finished in last place among those on the ballot.

There sits the proof of why the Democratic Party chose to try to ignore this scandal. This is also proof that Mr. Spitzer is nothing more today than a propagandist, spewing misinformation for the Liberal Democratic Party agenda over on CNN.  The Parker-Spitzer show failed miserably in the ratings department and that  all was falsely blamed on Kathleen Parker.  She was hired to bring a Conservative perspective to the show, as we were told by CNN. Now CNN, in it’s infinite wisdom of following up failures with bigger blunders, has given this propagandist and adulterer, Spitzer a new show, In The Arena. I was channel-flipping last night, when I caught a glimpse of just what this Democratic Media Operative is trying to pass off as fact on his new CNN show. He stated that passing the Bush Tax cuts extension bill, ( which just kept tax rates the same across the board) has raised our National Debt by $3.6 trillion dollars. Read that one again folks. CNN is getting exactly what it pays for here once again: Liberal Propaganda in the extreme.

Let me explain Spitzer’s statement in simple language right here and right now. If the government took in $1000.00 dollars last year due to revenue dictated by the tax rates, then this year they will take in the same amount, $1000.00  There was no tax cut, or decrease in the taxes being taken in, therefore the tax rate staying the same will  will keep the revenue the same, not raise the national debt on it’s own. That is done only by the irresponsible spending, waste and fraud that is running so rampant from within our government today, which is direct a result of the last four years of Democratic control of  Congress, in which we piled up over $6 trillion in debt, not counting the 2 trillion Obamacare will cost us in the first 10 years, according to the CBO. So much for winning the future.

  1. This article about Eliot Spitzer is so obviously written by a hard headed REPUBLICAN that it is a wonder that any normal level headed person could accept it. I watch his latest show every night and even though I am not an American, I fully accept what he says. He is a well educated and intelligent speaker. His past is just that but the writer obviously delights in digging up old news. Look into the Republican shares of scandals as well.

  2. Gee thanks for such an intelligent addition to the conversation from our neighbor to the north. Let me inform you of one small fact: I am a registered Independant voter here in the U.S.A. So much for your “Republican rumor.”
What part of educated and intelligent speaker fits into his posted lies about not raising taxes increases our national debt by 3.6 trillion dollars do you not understand ?

Personally, I could care less what you accept, as it has no bearing on the American political scene. I vote here you don’t.
As far as level-headed people are concerned, you are the one that looks the fool with your post here, not the millions of Americans who refuse to tune into Spitzer’s latest leftist rag show, simply because they are smart enough to see through the leftist misinformation, while you on the other hand apparently are not.
People want the truth, and looking at Spitzers ratings, he fails to deliver that, time after time. As for his filthy past, that speaks of a person’s character, just like someone posting in here trying to defend it speaks about their character, or lack thereof.
