A Woke Military is Not a Safe Military

I do not give a damn about the diversity of our military. I could not care less if Transgendered males, females or whatever they call themselves ever don a uniform. I really do not want jet cockpits reconfigured for pregnant pilots. The only two flags I ever want to see flying over a military base is Old Glory, with just 50 stars and the black flag of POWs and MIAs. May there never be a third pole erected for a rainbow flag of diversity. I do not care if you are white, black, brown or red as long as you will fight to protect the red, white and blue. I do not want diversity, I want a military that puts the fear of God in the Chinese, Russians, Iranians and South Koreans. I want a military that nobody would ever want to bang heads with…..period.

I was sickened on Friday to hear some disturbing news on Tucker Carlson’s show. It is a shame it was aired on a Friday night, but it should be watched by every American who cares about our future and our safety. These are some of the points that were covered:

  1. Richard Torres-Estrada is now the “Chief of Diversity & Inclusion” of America’s Special Forces. He will oversee the “diversity and inclusion initiative” for Special Forces. Now diversity is more important than toughness and readiness to respond to any mission they face. The question is: Who exactly is Richard Torres-Estrada? His Facebook page gives us some indication of who he is. On it, you will find an attack on the police, you will find crude BLM propaganda, you’ll find a picture of Donald Trump holding a Bible in front of a church. Next to Trump is a photograph of Adolf Hitler. The point is, they are the same. So, this is the guy who now oversees hiring for the SEALs
  2. For the last month, the entire U.S. military has been operating under a so-called “stand-down” order issued by the new Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, the defense contractor who is now running the military. Lloyd Austin believes the real threat to America is not the Chinese government or paralyzed global trade. The real threat is people who did not vote for Joe Biden. Lloyd Austin said during his confirmation: JAN. 19: “And if confirmed, I will fight hard to stamp out sexual assault and to rid our ranks of racists and extremists … The job of the Department of Defense is to keep America safe from our enemies. But we can’t do that if some of those enemies lie within our own ranks.
  3. Here is what a few of our Democrat Senators and Reps have said about Veterans who were identified protesting on January 6th:

SENATOR TAMMY DUCKWORTH, D-ILL., MARCH 18: We absolutely need to look at any type of White supremacists that are still members of the military and how they are being targeted for recruitment by White supremacist groups and we need to weed this out … This whole idea of police officer on police officer violence with those officers who have been turned by White extremists is really scary to me. And I know it’s got to be scary for the other police officers.

SEN. MAZIE HIRONO, D-HAWAII, MARCH 9: I am considering legislation to create a standalone punitive article in the Uniform Code of Military Justice to address violent extremism in the ranks and to send a message of deterrence, that this kind of conduct will not be tolerated in the military.

REP DEBBIE WASSERMAN-SCHULTZ, D-FLA., MARCH 12: We’ve seen a lot of reports highlighting how many of the attackers were veterans, and there’s been really a growing recognition that the military has to do more to address extremism in its ranks

  • Just last month, Lt. Gen. Brad Webb, the commander of the Air Force Education and Training Command, made it explicit. He acknowledged that the Air Force was recruiting candidates with a private pilot’s license. That might seem like a wise course — flying planes is what the Air Force does — but to Lt. Gen Brad Webb, no, that’s systemic racism:

LT. GEN. BRAD WEBB: One of the other areas in line with that has been aptitude tests. In fact, the chief mentioned that one as well in his talk the other day. But we are deep underway updating pilot tests and also officer candidate tests that, at its root, you know, you get a weighted score … if you have a private pilot license. Well, that’s a socioeconomic influencer. In other words, if you are rich enough to afford to have private pilot time, you can get a license. That ought not be weighted in such a way that you exclude, you know, various ethnic groups.

That guy’s the commander of Air Force Education. And it’s not just him. In October, the head of Air Force recruiting office, Major General Ed Thomas, published a piece on Yahoo entitled “86% of Air Force pilots are white men. Here’s why this needs to change.” With all due respect to the Major General….I don’t even want to know his rationale let alone his solution.

This is not only ridiculous. This is not only absurd. This is sad that we even have to write and read about such idiocy but we must as we need to know about it and we need to do something to correct it. The best way is to replace the politicians that are facilitating this insanity but, in the meantime, we must let them know we are aware and we think their actions are disgusting and dangerous.

  1. There needs to be a better system of proof reading these articles. The current system allows far too many errors, errors that would not have gotten by in the days of actual printing on paper. The author rightfully calls for a military that will put fear into our enemies and then goes on to include our ally South Korea in that list of enemies! I assume he meant North Korea and the auto correct on his device inserted the word south instead. Unresolved mistakes like that detract from the overall credibility of the article.

  2. Very many years ago the printed-on-paper newspaper in our town was nicknamed The Daily Mistake. Their errors were many. They also advertised “donate a subscription to the schools, it will help the children” so they were evidently unaware of their mistakes. They did win awards but never for accuracy in spelling (sometimes not their fault), grammar, and eventually truth. When the errors in truth began that’s when I stopped reading it.
