About 156,000 customers in the Carolinas were without electricity as of 3:30 p.m. EST, more than 45,000 in Georgia, and about 20,000 in Florida.

Snow, freezing rain, wintery mix, and rain are expected across the region Sunday night into Monday where cold overnight temperatures could refreeze into ice on roads and walkways.

Most of the outages in North Carolina are concentrated in the Raleigh area and to the southwest where less snow and more rain and frozen rain fell although thousands are also without power in the southwest Appalachian mountains.

In North Carolina, Jones and Onslow Counties are expected to be restored by 5:15 p.m., Carteret county should see power restoration by 6:30 p.m., Pender by 7:45 p.m, and Johnston by midnight Sunday night. All other counties are listed with no estimate for restoration only that “repairs and damage assessment to begin once storm clears.”
