Over the past couple of days, new allegations of the Biden administration rigging the mainstream media are gaining traction. Fox News reported that Spectator USA editor Amber Athey shared she has never seen anything like it. Press Secretary Jen Psaki is being accused of screening press questions ahead of press briefings.
The Daily Beast reports that there are multiple sources confirming that the Biden administration has been asking for questions in advance. One reporter was cited as saying asking for questions in advance was not really supporting a free press at all.
Now let’s be honest. When was the last time that the Democrats actually supported a free press? They prefer that the mainstream media only report what they want. Biased, left-wing propaganda that supports the social and political missions of the Left.
A free press should be allowed to ask questions, no matter the subject and without prior preparation. To allow the knowledge of the question in advance would prevent the Biden administration from being honest. You can tell a lot about someone from an immediate answer and their body language versus a rehearsed and planned answer.
The White House was quick to defend the action saying that they were trying to make the conferences more appealing to everyone. According to quoted comments in the same article from The Daily Beast, a White House representative said, “Our goal is to make the daily briefing as useful and informative as possible for both reporters and the public. Part of meeting that objective means regularly engaging with the reporters who will be in the briefing room to understand how the White House can be most helpful in getting them the information they need. That two-way conversation is an important part of keeping the American people updated about how government is serving them.”
By getting the reporter’s information the White House apparently means screening questions and only allowing questions that conform to the message they want you to hear. That puts Psaki’s answer to the Biden mask question in an entirely new perspective, doesn’t it?
While some may argue that the actions of the Biden administration here are unprecedented, they really aren’t. There are two things that you must keep in mind here.
First, Biden is simply copying what he saw in the Obama administration. Fox News clearly called out the same scenario where it was uncovered how Barack Obama’s administration did a similar act in 2009. They were caught rigging questions for a town hall event with CBS.
You can see the coordination between the Democrats and the mainstream media everywhere you turn. The headlines are the same and the keywords are the same. They love to coordinate their effort, and rigging questions for a press conference should never surprise us.
Then you can also see the double standard of the Democrats here as well. When Trump’s press secretaries were asked difficult questions, they responded. Amber Athey said that there were no questions from the Trump administration about what topics the media was going to ask about. They simply asked as a free press should.
If President Donald Trump had attempted to do this, he would have been criticized even more. The Democrats in Congress would have introduced articles of impeachment against him for violating the Constitution and the free press. Instead, they simply let Biden get by with it.
This type of corruption is nothing new for the Democrats. It prevents the American people from knowing the truth about what their government is doing and the deep corruption that exists. Of course, that’s the exact type of scenario that gave us President Donald Trump.
Perhaps four more years of this communist-style leadership will bring us another four years of Trump, or another leader who will follow up on the mission that Trump set out on. To drain the swamp and rid it of the lies and corruption.
The Biden Administration Puts Corruption on Display
Joe Biden’s Press Secretary is taking heat. Not for dodging press conferences or even for holding them. No, she is apparently screening questions before they are asked. In a direct attack on the free press, the Biden administration again proves they have no interest in the Constitution as they directly attack the American people.
