2020 Democrat Debates Could Be the Mother of All Clown Shows
Now that Hillary Clinton is out of the way, the Democrats are swarming like cockroaches over who will win the 2020 presidential nomination and be on the receiving end of a landslide loss to President Donald Trump.
Dems are jockeying for position and it could be a field that approaches the seventeen candidates that the Republican Party fielded for the 2016 nomination.
The marquee name is, of course, Kamala Harris. The woman hasn’t even been a U.S. Senator for a year yet but she is already schmoozing with Hillary’s donor network, is black and is a woman.
These are three very important qualities that give her the early inside track as the favorite to win the nomination.
Three old white men will try to swim upstream against the tide of Democrat identity politics as former Vice President Joe Biden, socialist cadaver Bernie Sanders and longtime Clinton crime family capo and current Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe are looking to run.
They are all long shots as the party will triple down on gender and race in an effort to woo young voters.
The only male with a real shot is New Jersey Senator Cory Booker aka Obama v 2.0 but he will be undermined by the party’s quest to put the first woman in the White House in order to avenge Hillary.

Dozens of Democrats, along with Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.), are thought to be eyeing the race, though no one has officially thrown their hat in the ring at this early stage.
Besides Sanders, 75, the heavyweights include former Vice President Joe Biden, 74, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), who is 68.
A survey released this week by the Democratic-leaning firm Public Policy Polling showed Biden ahead of Trump 54 percent to 39 percent in a hypothetical matchup, and Sanders leading 52 percent to 39 percent.
It also found Warren and Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), who are also talked about as potential candidates, ahead of Trump — though by smaller margins.
While much can change in the coming years, Trump has just a 39.8 percent approval rating in the RealClearPolitics average of polls after less than seven months in office. Those numbers will make many Democrats think they have a chance of defeating him if they can win their own party’s nomination.
Other Democrats thought to be weighing their options include Sens. Amy Klobuchar (Minn.), Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.), and Chris Murphy (Conn.), as well as Govs. Terry McAuliffe (Va.), John Hickenlooper (Colo.), Jay Inslee (Wash.) and Steve Bullock (Mont.).
“We’re seeing huge excitement out there for Democrats as we fight for policies that support American families and expand economic opportunity, while Republicans are working to strip away healthcare from millions and are led by one of the most unpopular presidents in history,” Sabrina Singh, deputy communications director for the Democratic National Committee, said in response to questions about the possible field of candidates.
People close to Trump aren’t worried about the potential competition.
With a field that big there will be an internal war on gender and race, a war that Ms. Harris is best positioned to win.
But they will all end up severely wounding each other in the process and providing the nation with multiple examples via televised debates on why they are not an option to govern.
This has all the makings of a cataclysm for the reeling, butthurt and rudderless Dems but when an enemy is hellbent on destroying itself, why get out of the way?
