Republicans Expose Pelosi’s 2.5 Trillion Socialist Wish List In Corona Package!

EvilPelosi

The Republicans had a great deal for people affected by the coronavirus that would stimulate the economy and help people and businesses affected by it, but the House democrats voted it down in a surprising move on Sunday night. President Trump expressed his disappointment at his daily press conference on Monday with the Task Force and said it was a great bill and didn’t think the democrats would vote it down and hoped they would come to an agreement on a bill to help the country and people.

After three days of bipartisan negotiations, Senate Democrats suddenly decided to block the CARES Act on a procedural vote The deal began to unravel when Nancy Pelosi announced that she would not accept the Senate bill and planned to write a House Democrat plan for Phase 3 coronavirus relief. An infuriated Mitch McConnell ripped Democrats for pulling a last-minute partisan stunt while Americans desperately need relief, and markets need a show of confidence

Even The New York Times leaves no doubt as to which party made the move, and which party risks getting blamed for the fallout saying:

“SENATE DEMOCRATS ON WEDNESDAY BLOCKED ACTION ON AN EMERGING DEAL TO PROP UP AN ECONOMY DEVASTATED BY THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC, PARALYZING THE PROGRESS OF A NEARLY $2 TRILLION GOVERNMENT RESCUE PACKAGE THEY SAID FAILED TO ADEQUATELY PROTECT WORKERS OR IMPOSE STRICT ENOUGH RESTRICTIONS ON BAILEd OUT BUSINESSES.

THE PARTY-LINE VOTE WAS A STUNNING SETBACK AFTER THREE DAYS OF FAST-PACED NEGOTIATIONS BETWEEN SENATORS AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICIALS TO REACH A BIPARTISAN COMPROMISE ON LEGISLATION THAT IS EXPECTED TO BE THE LARGEST ECONOMIC STIMULUS PACKAGE IN AMERICAN HISTORY — NOW EXPECTED TO COST $1.8 TRILLION OR MORE. IN A 47-TO-47 VOTE, THE SENATE FELL SHORT OF THE 60 VOTES THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN NEEDED TO ADVANCE THE MEASURE, EVEN AS TALKS CONTINUED BETWEEN BEHIND THE SCENES BETWEEN DEMOCRATS AND THE WHITE HOUSE TO SALVAGE A COMPROMISE.

THE FAILURE TO MOVE FORWARD SHOOK FINANCIAL MARKETS AND THREATENED AN AMBITIOUS TIMELINE SET BY THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION AND LEADING REPUBLICANS TO MOVE THE RESCUE PACKAGE THROUGH THE SENATE ON MONDAY AND ENACT IT WITHIN DAYS.

IN VOTING TO BLOCK ACTION, DEMOCRATS RISKED A POLITICAL BACKLASH IF THEY ARE SEEN AS OBSTRUCTING PROGRESS ON A MEASURE THAT IS WIDELY REGARDED AS CRUCIAL TO AID DESPERATE AMERICANS AND PROP UP A FLAGGING ECONOMY.”

“Speaker Pelosi unveiled legislation aimed at exploiting the COVID-19 public health crisis by attempting to force the inclusion of a socialist wish list of policies that have nothing to do with the public health and economic emergency,” said House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, Louisiana Republican.

After poring over the 1,400-page proposal, Mr. Scalise offered his characterization of Republicans’ objections to the following items:

Under the heading of “Union Giveaways”:

  • Nullifies the White House executive orders on federal collective bargaining and codifies taxpayer-funded union official time.
  • Permanently raises the minimum wage to $15 for any business that receives federal aid for COVID-19.
  • Cancels all debt owed by the U.S. Postal Service to the Treasury.

Under the heading “Green New Deal priorities”:

  • Requires all airlines that receive assistance to offset carbon emissions for domestic flights by 2025.
  • Includes a $1 billion “cash for clunkers” airplane program where the Transportation Department buys fuel-inefficient planes from airlines in exchange for agreeing to buy new ones.
  • Includes expansive new tax-credit for solar and wind energy.

Under “Student Loan Forgiveness”:

  • $10,000 blanket loan forgiveness.

 Under “Federalizing Elections”:

  • Mandates how states must run elections, including the nationalization of ballot harvesting, requiring early voting, same-day registration, and no-excuse vote by mail.
  • Puts states at risk of costly litigation if they are unable to implement these stringent mandates ahead of 2020
  • Puts states at risk of costly litigation if they are unable to implement these stringent mandates ahead of the 2020 election.Under “Immigration Provisions”:

*Would allow certain funding to go to sanctuary cities.

  • Limits Customs and Border Patrol’s ability to shutdown processing centers if there is a health crisis on the border and requires CBP to assure the timely adjudication of asylums applications.
  • Requires the Homeland Security Department to automatically extend visas and work authorizations expiring within the next year, including those with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and Temporary Protected Status, for an amount of time equal to their prior visa, authorization or status.
  •  Virtually rewrites the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program policy with no reference to COVID-19 and permanently disallows rulemaking pertaining to work requirements and eligibility.Under “New Permanent Mandates”:

    • Virtually rewrites the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program policy with no reference to COVID-19 and permanently disallows rulemaking pertaining to work requirements and eligibility

  •  Requires the Homeland Security Department to automatically extend visas and work authorizations expiring within the next year, including those with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and Temporary Protected Status, for an amount of time equal to their prior visa, authorization or status.Permanent expansion of Obamacare entitlement, “Requires the Homeland Security Department to automatically extend visas and work authorizations expiring within the next year, including those with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and Temporary Protected Status, for an amount of time equal to their prior visa, authorization or status, Permanent expansion of Obamacare entitlement, “putting the American taxpayer on the hook for endless and unchecked health insurance spending and would remove all incentives for insurers to reduce the cost of health insurance
  • Limits Customs and Border Patrol’s ability to shutdown processing centers if there is a health crisis on the border and requires CBP to assure the timely adjudication of asylums applications.

Mr. Scalise said the Democrats’ bill also excludes bipartisan health-care provision in the Senate bill, including a proposal to expand telehealth access for home dialysis patients, hospice and home health patients; and a measure to prevent a payment reduction for durable medical equipment to help patients’ better transition from the hospital to home.

“Instead of working in a bipartisan, bicameral way to provide this immediate relief, the speaker has proposed legislation that includes highly partisan provisions while excluding key patient care provisions that would have a real impact on Americans affected by COVID-19,” Mr. Scalise told his Republican Colleagues.

This is all their Green New Deal pushed into a Corona Virus bill that was to boost the economy and help people affected by the virus. Instead, Dems showed once again that they could care less about the people and only about themselves. They are truly worse than the virus itself. The GOP can go forward and say to the American people you all will suffer now because Pelosi wants to put all kinds of non-Coronavirus BS in this bill. She doesn’t care for you. This is not a game. People’s lives are at stake If that’s the way they want to go then maybe no deal is better than a bad deal.

  1. There are multiple problems that exist as it relates to the China Virus;
    1. Politicians will exploit any opportunity to advance their own PERSONAL agenda (since it is not the agenda of We The People).
    2. Use the China Virus as an opportunity to control We The People.
    3. Are so short-sighted and lacking in vision or intelligence, will shut down the entire US (and Global) economies to achieve #1 and #2.
    4. Are delusional in their beliefs that they have the ‘power’ to fix anything (that manifests out of #1, #2 or #3).

The really unconscionable and morally objectionable part of this TRILLION dollar bailout, is these criminals who occupy our government have no problem reaching into the average citizens pocket, stealing their money (via taxes) and giving it to someone else (it would be OK if it went to out of work middle Americans: waiters, waitresses, etc…..but NO, in addition to those giveaways Mr. Clayton lists above, this is for Boeing, United Airlines and every other large corporation which has spent the last years giving profits to each other in the form of BONUSES and Stock Options, instead of saving for the proverbial rainy day, which many of us do).

The China Virus is not near the problem that government (world-wide) has currently made it: whether from their actions / in-actions, preparedness / un-preparedness for a crisis such as this, which has been brewing for decades.

This will certainly be; THE CURE is MUCH WORSE than the disease.

  2. Remember, remember come this November.
How the Democrats willingly perjured themselves for Impeachment
How they violated the Constitution time and time again.
How they played politics, while America was in harms way.
How they attempted to divide us for political control.
How they used a National Emergency tying to put more Pork on their Plates.

Most of all remember come this November….
it was Trump that kicked them in the Rump each step of the way for us.
